| OMG this is HORRIBLE !!!! I am so sorry. This is one reason why I would never have a puppy shipped. I believe that you must pick up the puppy from the breeder. Are you sure this is a responsible breeder and not some scam being pulled on you????

| I have shipped puppies with no problems. There is always the possibility that something can go wrong....it is documented that it happens. I now encourage owners to come pick their babies up, since Southwest is so economical and you can fly with the pup in the cabin...a round trip ticket for the owner plus the $75.00 for the pup one way home, is usually cheaper for the new owner than the shipping costs on the airlines + the health certificate required to ship + the shipping crate....and a lot safer and we get to meet each other!....usually treat them to some Texas Bar-B-Q also! But when I do ship a pup, NEVER a tiny baby, and I always stay with my babies at the airport and WATCH that baby get loaded onto the "cart" that carries the baby to the plane.....I never just drop them and leave. I usually put a strip of tape on the crate with my name and phone number and a message to "CALL ME....THIS PUP IS SUPPOSED TO BE IN (WHERE EVER) BY 5PM TONIGHT!!!!...DELTA, FLIGHT 662!!!!" |

| Good morning, Sorry i did not write back last night or this morning, im beyond exhausted. I stayed in San Jose till after 1 this morning waiting for my baby as i was told she was on the last flight out that was waiting for a larger plane and would be in San Jose at 110 this morning. The last call i spoke with them at 10:30 she was loaded on the plane they were waiting for clearance to leave. They say she is being taken care of is in good health, has eaten, has a clean cage, has been let out to stretch and walk around and also given water. But given the nature i have not SEEN my dog i cannot tell you. The PetSafe people hate me so much 2 different ladies hung up on me and I didnt even yell but they did not like my tone of voice. Bi*** please be glad i cannot reach through my phone and jack your monkey arse up. The last lady told me I had some nerve comparing my puppy to a lost child. Seriously. When i started sarcastic laughing at her and telling her seriously did you really just say that, she hung up on me. Keep fingers crossed she makes the 11:40 flight out of Denver and in my arms around 2:30. This is the most horrid thing that has ever happen to me. And this trumps being scammed as i have in the past years ago. Thank you all for your thoughts and concerns and prayers. I will check back in with my next update once I have one. |

These are the people the airline has to keep track of pets, to keep pets safe and to act as liasons for the customers and pets??? They might need to rethink their hiring/training processes. If the "pet safe" people don't understand that to many people, our pets ARE our children, they are in the wrong line of work. Once this is over, I would write a strongly worded letter to the airline describing your experience and the utter lack of helpfulness as well as the outright rudeness of the petsafe people. I have never hung up on anyone, personal or business. That is unacceptable! "reach through my phone and jack your monkey arse up". ![]() ![]() Will continue to pray for the safe arrival of your pup. What a dreadful experience...

| Thank you for letting us know...we are all as worried as you are about this poor soul! Did they even tell you what in the H*** happened????? When all this is over, you need to contact corporate headquarters for United and tell them about those rude women and the kind of wonderful, compassionate customer service they extended to YOU during a very exasperating time. Last night, on the news, I heard United came in dead last on all counts, in ratings for airlines.....guess you can vouch for that!!! |

I have NEVER heard of a company person hanging up on a customer....one exception, the customer was cursing like a filthy mouthed maniac and the customer rep. just told him he was going to transfer the call to his supervisor because he was not going to be cursed at like that. I look back on how I acted in the airport when Continental lost my puppy, and I am actually amazed they did not have me arrested and forcably removed from the area! They were VERY, VERY tolerant and very helpful....there were all kinds of people on 3 different phones, calling all over, looking for that baby! And when I explaned about dropping blood sugar and seizures and death.....well they found that baby quickly.... |

| I am so glad that your puppy is in transit, hopefully no more delays or problems. I would definitely make sure she has food and water available with nutrical or karo syrup. With her stressful day I am sure she will just want to sleep and relax. I can only imagine how you were feeling, especially with such a little baby. I would have went crazy there, not even a question. With such a little puppy a mix up like that can be a life or death situation. Write a letter, or if you can call whoever is incharge of PetSafe employment, and explain to them your situation and the way those people treated you. They deserve to be fired. When my sister lost her little baby she actually went to therapy for people that lost their pets/children and was not spoken to in that way. |

| Oh my goodness! I am just reading this. What a horrid disaster of a mess this is. Please post as soon as you have your baby safe and settled with you. Praying you have your baby in your arms very very soon. What a nightmare.

| YT Addict | What a shame, what should have been a happy occasion turned into a nightmare. I really wish airlines would stop allowing small pets to fly without a carrier. None of this would have happened and you would have had your precious puppy in your arms last night. United should be ashamed of themselves and I would not let this rest until they reimburse you for your puppy's flight. That's the least they can do. Please let us know when you finally get your hands on your little baby.

| My worry this morning is, they placed her at their kennel facility. At 12 weeks old is this safe? She has had 2 rounds of shots but not all her shots? She's highly succeptable to parvo and kennel cough and Lord only knows what else. I've placed a call with my vet we were to be seeing tomorrow to see if at all she will see us today if in fact my baby ships from Denver today at 1140. |
