| ![]() we have to agree to disagree...but my point is if she wanted to make this a pure breed she would have to breed them for many generations to come (the rite way of course) and it would happen...thats my point... |

| ![]() Exactly what others are saying. I know it seems like a big deal now but if he ends up bigger than you expected it'll mean nothing to you later. Mine is 12.9 when last weighed a couple weeks ago. I got him expecting he'd get no more than 7 but he just wouldn't stop growing. Lol. I would trade him for another one and if I could turn back time I'd take him again. He still seems small to me. If yours ends up a tea pot, you'll see it won't matter anymore. It'll change your prospective a little bit too. ![]() |

| ![]() Oh, I'd thought you actually said there was no such thing as a pure bred dog.

| ![]() i already bought my puppy from her she healthy n all and i cant lie i cant say she isnt charing to much for dogs but there people out there charging triple for small mixed breeds. She told me she built her reputation and then starting charging that much...just like any akc breeder who starts out low until they build there name...the point is with her is that she charges 1500 for a girl and 1000 for a boy which is a big jump...they should both be the same |

| ![]() How do you know your dog is healthy? You've only had him for a few weeks. Congenital defects usually don't show up for a few years. Where will your breeder be and how will she handle it when you tell her your dog has such and such condition bc it was passed down from the dam and sire? Edit: I'll give you an example. My Uni was diagnosed with Lp grade 2 and 3 when she was 3.5 years old. Surgery going rate is about $2000-3000 per knee with a healing time of 8 weeks.

| ![]() If the groove is shallow/narrow but not to a great degree to allow slippage yet, the ligaments too long or weak or the patella malformed, the subluxation may not develop until later in some dogs after more wear and tear or an injury to any part of the knee mechanism. I understand not all dogs have it to the degree that it shows up in puppyhood - that their defects that can lead to it take some time to develop into LP. I know every single vet that examined Tibbe when I got him at 9 mos. of age - said he had no LP - a total of 5 in all - and yet when he had his scintigraphy this spring, the 2 vets that did a PE on him said he had a mild form of it bilaterally as of age 5.

| ![]() Well she had no injury, so what else would have caused it? And that's my dog. What about yours? You still didn't answer my question.
