My dogs get lots of socialization, not so much with other dogs though, but I would like go there and play myself. Oh, I'd take Brody and Mia, too...but what a great facility!

| When we first got Troy I worked full time. He was just a puppy, but he adjusted and so did I. He stayed in either an excercise pen or crate during the day. I now work from home but travel frequently and I have a baby sitter during those times. For some socialization, Troy does get to go to the dog park or doggy daycare.

| I feel for you! I know it will be me sooner or later. I only work part-time, right now my hours are 8-1 5 days a week (sometimes 9-1) and I always feel so guilty, even for only 4-6 hours, lol. He is so sad every morning now but I know he's okay, I can just tell it's taking some adjusting (I was dog walking, and taking him with me, so hardly was he left alone at all). But he's adjusted fine, and we just do extra special things when I get home. I think it's a good step to working full time and getting him acclimated.

I actually have both of these pens. The Iris playpen is her everyday one. It's where her bed is, pee pad, food, water, toys....it's open during the day when I'm home but if I go out and she can't come with me that's where she stays. We did have to buy the mesh roof and doubly secure it cause our little girl can be quite the Houdini. The Best Pet Folding Pen is my go to travel pen. I keep it in the car for when I'm planning on spending a day with my daughter and small grand babies or visiting a friend. It has a plastic liner and zipper mesh top. I've also used it at family barbeques when there were lots of kids and bigger dogs so she could come with us but still be safe.

My fiance and I can't get walking Lola at the moment as she needs her 2nd injection which will be taking place on Wednesday 12th September. So unfortunately she is confined to the house until then!! We have been taking her into the garden to do her doggy business and is on a harness and lead. I have to say I am looking forward to getting her out for walks. Means I can lose some exercise hehehehehehe.

| My husband and I both work full time. All 3 of my yorkies are gated in the kitchen and bathroom area. They are trained to potty outside and pee pad. I do come home on my lunch hour, but they are just fine being home all day by themselves. All they do is sleep all day, but when my daughter gets home at 1:30, they are ready to play.

| We did the expen thing as well in the beginning. Kaji now has access to the entire apartment (minus the kitchen). I can trust him not to mess, chew, or destroy anything. (except in the kitchen that's blocked off with a baby gate) We have moved back in with my parents. Grandma is with him most of the day, and grandpa works in the building where we live, so he is in and out all day. Not that it really matters. Kaji doesn't really care for them. He sits on my bed, or my shoes and waits for me to come home. He has warmed up to my parents a bit and will come out to visit with them for 30 mins then go back to my bed. It only took Kaji 3 years to warm up to grandma and grandpa.

| We both work full time here. My pups stay home alone anywhere from 5 to 9 hours some days. We have a routine down in the morning outside, breakfast, outside. The dog stay in their room all day while we're gone. In my old rent home I just gated off a tile are in my kitchen, but luckily in my new home they have their own room. I also have a webcam set up, but rarely get on to check on them as they both mostly sleep all day.

And a "certified crook" knows ALL the available methods for locating addresses from anthing they see or read, ANYWHERE! Daddy always told us NEVER publish an obit when he or momma died, the thieves and crooks scan the obits daily for opportunities.....that was BEFORE that became a common practice!....I used to think he was crazy with some of the "outlandish ideas he thought up"....OMG! He was always right on with his thoughts....just way ahead of his time!
