When we first got Troy I worked full time. He was just a puppy, but he adjusted and so did I. He stayed in either an excercise pen or crate during the day. I now work from home but travel frequently and I have a baby sitter during those times. For some socialization, Troy does get to go to the dog park or doggy daycare.
