WHY does anyone think that I suggested that the cooky lady in the pet store was CORRECT???? As I already mentioned, I was only trying to explain what might be the lady's motivation for her snipe. HOWEVER, I certainly did not try to excuse her conduct. I personally do not believe in retaliation of any sort really. I don't want to punch someone in the face for making a stupid comment. I'd rather understand what motivates a person to be so negative. It helps me better understand the 'human' (not canine) condition. I'd rather look that lady in the eye and say: "It's a true shame that you're having such a bad day that you have to pick on the most defenseless and innocent life. I hope that tomorrow is better for you and you begin to see the beauty in all things living." But hey, that's just me. Yet, I never approved of anybody's comments - and certainly not about the beautiful Sophia ![]() | |

| Next time someone says anything like that, stoop to their pretentious level and tell them to "bite my arse"....idiotic people. Thats like the woman next door to my mother who hasn't spoke to her in years because My Miss Mini was a snob to her chi!!! Miss Mini is not an overly social girl, she prefers humans, this chi was bigger than Miss Mini who just stood still, with her nose in the air...because she was afraid!!! Well this woman tells my mother that my dog is snobby...thinks shes a princess...blah, blah, blah, I laughed it off till she said something to me and I told her to "bite my arse" and informed her that my Miss Mini is a Princess and is descended from royalty.....bwahahaha Your baby is beautiful, people are idiots...

| I honestly love all dogs and animals in general...The day I got my first Yorkie was not what I was intending to get, but my hubby saw her dragging a big fluffy maltese around the cage they were in, he picked her up and it was love at first sight....Honestly, I didn't even know what kind of pup she was! My point is I would never and could never tell anyone anything like that...I choose to see the beauty in all animals....

| Wow. Not only is she a beoytch - she's stupid too! Commenting on someone's dog (most times) is like commenting on their child. People love and feel protective about their dog. What an idiot. I'm sorry you had to go through that.

| OMG! That is like telling someone they have an ugly baby. How rude. Your baby is beautiful. If she loves her Yorkie as most do, she would know better than to say anything. I dislike snobby people. |

| Donating YT 4000 Club Member | Pay no mind to that horrible person, i was told once that my Prada is not a yorkie, that she is a mutt because she has a cotton coat and is 10+ pounds, and black and tan, people seem to take pleasure in speaking ill of others.. your baby is gorgeous and is no doubt about it.. hugs, Carmen in nj |

| I'm sorry this happened... I do realize that even a thousand compliments will not erase the hurt this woman caused you to feel. I'm even feeling some hurt for you just thinking about this. The only reason I find is that someone must have done the same thing to her at one point in her life... and lashing out at others must make her feel better. I think it is more naturally human to be nice, and that this kind of rudeness and attacking is a learned behavior. I was in a store once with one of mine, and stopped for a conversation with a woman... I can't remember exactly what she said, but I dropped a toy I had in my hands when she started and immediately covered my dog's ears with my hands, all with a horrified look on my face! I actually got a 'head tilt' out of the woman, then I explained that she was a rescue and I don't discuss anything negative within her earshot, as she has had enough negativity already in the few years she's been here on this Earth. I caught the woman so off guard she forgot what she was going to say! Then she walked away looking like she'll pay more attention in the future who she chooses to speak to, lol. PS: Sophia and Brody are two of my most favorite pups on YT!

| Here's my pitiful attempt at analyzing that awful lady's behavior. I am so sorry you had to run into one of the uglier sides of human nature - that of pride. You usually see inflated pride so often when the person has an underlying inferiority complex so that they frequently compensate by creating an inflated sense of self-importance & attempted perfection out of their need for self-respect through a great sense of pride. Usually they are so uncomfortable in their own skin, they don't feel they are really worthy of any regard or that they measure up to peers & are only really satisfied once they've made others feel as badly as they do. Once they have achieved that, they don't feel so alone & finally feel some sense of satisfaction, however pitiful & fleeting that may be. They, better than anyone, know the true meaning of the phrase "misery loves company". They usually go through their entire lives trying to achieve perfection & make a show of it in every area of their lives, will do anything to try to get it & love to belittle those, who, in their opinions, haven't achieved it. They often will marry rich, obnoxious men who treat them like used rugs but must have the man's money so they can make their outward show of perfection to the world. Often the lives they lead are those of deep inward shame at what they endure in order to achieve whatever social status they can & hate themselves for settling at the same time. No wonder their words are often so vicious & scalding - they come from a wretched creature whose sense of great pride has caused her to sell out to the world of greed & false ideals & who knows no true happiness or personal sense of self-worth or achievement. Females like her are an embarrassment to real women. Don't spend one more minute thinking about her sorry statements & thank the Lord you were spared her empty kind of existence. Hug your darling baby Yorkie & smile at your countless, meaningful blessings.

| Only miserable people treat others that way. So take a little solace in that. The one I really feel sorry for is her dog. What if it wasnt "perfect?" What if it suffered an injury or illness that impacted its appearance? That person is not even in the same league as you. The only emotion she deserves is pity. |
