| Hello everyone just wanted to drop in and say that alot has gone on in the past few weeks! whoa I talked to crystal on thursday and had a discussion with her and she respectively agreed to refund the deposit, so she was fully cooperative and understaning with that matter. I know it has been hard for everyone trying to resolve thier issues with her and what not, i do hope that everyone involved does get what thier looking for. Also hope that crystal deals with them in a polite and professional manner. I wish you girls the best of luck. As for myself I did manage to break away clean before i sealed the deal and got my deposit back. I just wish I was never brought into the drama and lies and the 85 unwanted miles on my car!!! But most of all my heart was broken, you guys dont know how badly I had been wanted a puppy, all the countless hours i spent on thinking of names, shoping for puppy toys, and thinking about all the fun and kisses id give her once i brought her home, all of that is gone....i really dont know what to do but to keep hoping somewhere ill find my true love , I will continue looking for a female purebreed yorkie at a decent price...if anyone has any recommendations for a yorkie breeder in the Los Angeles area please let me know !!! | This is craziness her second posting about selling pups for 'friends who don't deal with the public and this is why'-uh no, a reputable breeder would want to meet their adopters! People who let others sell their pups are obviously uncaring and people who sell pups for others are brokers...plus Crystal proclaims on each posting of internet sold pups by her she bred them herself and they are raised in her home-the ones with papers (CKC) all list her as the breeder-is that more fraud?) nothing about selling or listing for a friend and nothing about re-homing dogs is mentioned in anything I read written by her on multiple places other than here in that second letter...-all her listings are for pups of multiple breeds and mixed breeds- Anyone look up her AKC record she can no longer show her last two breeds she "solely" bred for 20 years because of issues in them being mixed...all I did was Google her...and clicked around a bit. I hope you all take this issue to court, and get some justice-please don't return the pups...it might be worth loosing the money to ensure they are in good hands...she seems to present a strange list of defenses and very contradicting stories depending where she is defending or trying to sell something...lots of major red flags...please everyone post your updates. I hope the craziness here stops and everything works out for these poor pups in the middle of all this. At least they are all healthy thus far! |

| Wow; I'm totally surprised at the turn this thread has taken. No Yorkshire Terrier showed up in the DNA testing? That is quite shocking if the test is to be believed and IF the pup was presented as a purebred yorkie ~ which apparently she was. I hope you are able to keep this puppy WITH a full refund - which would pretty much be the least the breeder could do. I hope that you love her though, after all this, and cannot bear to part with her; because every puppy deserves to be loved - even if they flunked their DNA test! Good Luck!

| Wow, this thread has turned into one really great lesson for anyone buying a yorkie. IMO, if you can't afford a reasonable price for a yorkie (versus a cheap price), maybe you should consider waiting and saving more money. Really, your cheap yorkie could become very, very expensive in a heartbeat!

| I agree on saving more. I searched awhile for my little Bevo and once I saw him (after seeing others) I fell in love that moment. I dont really know if I paid too much or not, however to me now, he is priceless and I would pay 10X as much if I ever lost him to get him back. I paid $2,300 for him.

| Yes, this is really disturbing. I just saw the pictures of Macy, Joanna's baby and I'm sorry to say, she looks a lot like a mix. She could be half Silky or Yorkshire Terrier. But, I strongly doubt she is purebred (I've seen a lot of Yorkie pictures since this ordeal began). Let us know when you get your DNA results. It is sad that this has been going on for at least a year. |

| Your puppy is really adorable. I understand how you feel because everyone has their own image in mind of how they'd like their baby to look . She may not look like how you were expecting her to look, since you were expecting her to be a Yorkie. However, when you love these babies, you don't see their imperfections; you look at them through eyes of love and think they are gorgeous. It won't matter at all what she looks like when you fall head over heels for your baby.

| We call him a Fragle We call him a Fragle: Scoobers is my Schnorkie (hybrid Yorkie miniature schnauzer) he's 21 lbs not 12 they are supposed to be at max, has the freakiest coat ever and ears and long legs and deer butt...well anyways even for being a Schnorkie he's the absolute "worst possible outcome in appearance" I love how he looks all clumsy-messed up funky furred! Seriously do you see those ears? I just love that pic...and my son swears he never shares food with his dog...uh huh I just see Scoobers saying, "excuse me where's my bite I always get?" |

Seriously he has the longest most awkward clumsy looking legs....with out them being disproportionately long for his body he'd be half his size I swear! As for the deer butt...his tail is an "extra long nubbin" and has hair on it that grows just like a deer's, plus it's white on bottom and darker on top just like a deer's...and well his butt...white-ish lighter just like a deers and he has perfectly deformed hair swirls so it looks...you guessed it just like a deers! Strangely because and when he jumps everything we say he "antelope jumps" but it's really...just like a deer! Last edited by concretegurl; 02-26-2011 at 07:17 PM. Reason: type but not butt | |

| I also just wanted to add to this thread a high price tag on a dog doesn't mean a darn thing either! I paid way too much and got a very sick dog that has also cost me very much, not to mention I inadvertently bought a dog from a Greeder supporting her, Research, research, research, and even then get it all in writing, contractual understand it fully agree to it, and cross your fingers! I kept and love my Elvis no matter what though! |
