Some lady just called me all excited because she said she found my dog. I rushed over there and look what she sold me for 40 bucks..............

Of coarse I'll be finding his owner. He seems to have been well taken care of and his hair is nice and groomed. I just bought him to get him out of possible wrong hands

I bet he lives around here. He doesnt' look like he's been out for long. But after what I just went through, I had to take him for safe keeping.
I think he may be silky?? or mix w/ silky?? not sure. Doesn't really matter. I'm sure someone is looking for him.

I am going to see if I can locate his owners first. I'm sure their not far. He's a good boy too.

But it didn't and now he's safe. Yay!! :)

It seems that the dog thieving industry is big and a pretty big money maker. Just look at craigslist. Look how many "Lost Yorkie" ads are running and how many people are needing to "rehome yorkies". Scary.
And from what I can tell he's not fixed either.

If you follow the links they have hundreds of phone numbers and shelters that you can call. Hope this helps to get the word out even more. They are a Pet Detective but have excellent ideas of how to reunite owners and dogs. I hope that you can find this little guys owner. How sad that there are so many out there that are looking for their homes. :(

Make sure that you call the local police and shelter to let them know you have him. The articles say that this is the most likely place that people look first.

Really though, it feels good to do good things for people.

I'll let everyone know what happens when i go to the vet.
