Oh he is a cutie pie!!! But it's not Benjamin. Benjamin's ears aren't that perky. Maybe I should adopt that little guy and give him a happy home. I wouldn't mind having two anyways when Benjamin makes it back. ;)
If and when I do ever get another one, it'll be a rescue.

Btw.. Lastnight me and my friend went out at like midnight and put fliers on windshields for about an hour in all directions away from my house. Probably put fliers on about 300 cars. I was planning on going farther with it as soon as i get paid and can get more paper and ink. I kind of want to do the post card thing too where they send out 500 or more postcards to addresses within a certain radius. But that's like another few hundred just for the smaill package of 500.
Oh well. If I just do the windshield thing and keep adding to a bigger area it'll be just as good as the post cards.
There is no way i'll go down without a fight and just give my baby to some stranger! It's hard for me to give up on things I feel strongly about. I'm too hard headed. Really, it's one of my character flaws. Although, sometimes being hard headed is a good thing.

I went to this website and there were quite a few YTs in Orange, CA. I couldn't believe all the Yorkies, actually.
Also, the Lancaster Animal Control has eight yorkies or yorkie mixes urgently needing homes and this is a kill shelter with a large intake of animals, if anyone is interested in a rescue. I'd probably run down there if I weren't on the other side of the US. There are some cuties!:)

Oh, I really think you should. Please know that you are NOT replacing Benjamin, but you are saving another precious baby. I personally search online everyday for Benjamin and I'm sure other people do too. I still think you will be reunited. But, like you said - you wouldn't mind 2 when he comes home.

There are so many in your area who need help. I too would rescue one if I wasn't across the country.

That dog in the link above looks so wonderful.

He is so darling and so miserable looking. I hate shelters, it is such a same that they are necessary. I say go for it too!

I personally look everyday too. But wow!!! Seems like these shelters filled up with yorkie and yorkie mixes over night!! :confused::confused::confused:

It is so sad there are so many in shelters. You and Benjamin are in my prayers. That would be great if you could rescue one of these poor babies.

I have been without a puter for a few days, but am still hoping and praying for Benjamin's safe return... and soon.

All I can say is GO AND GET ANOTHER ONE!! It doesn't mean your replacing or giving up on your baby, but I see no reason why you cannot give a loving home to one that needs it bad. And when your boy comes home he will have a playmate;)

WOW, that is really sad! You rarely see them in rescue or shelters up here in wa..

Oh Ive read your entire post hoping and praying that once i got to the end i would read good news, but still none. Oh christinee i wish there was something i could help you with! i live in CA not too far from Long Beach, if you need help posting fliers or anything please PM me and me and my sister would be more then willing to help you!!! I really hope you find your yorkie, i know that as the days go by it may seem more and more impossible but please keep hope! Have you had any sitings??? And i too think the little yorkie in the shelter was absolutley adorable!!! perhaps you should give him a chance, IF your open to having another little yorkie around! Besides Im sure Benjamin will be happy to have someone to play with ;) when you get him back :) which im sure you will!

I just spent the whole morning searching every crack and crevice of all the pounds within range. The adoptables, strays, injured & the dead pick up lists at all of them. He is and has not been to any of them...... WHICH.......... Means he's still out there somewhere.
SO...... I went to target and bought a nice supply of printer ink and paper and am going to expand my search by making 1000"s of postcards and putting them in every mailbox in every direction as far as this paper and ink will allow. Something has
gotta give!!! I hope. :/

I think that's a great idea. I also think that because he is so beautiful and lovable, someone must have taken him in. If they took him in, he's probably being fed, cared for and loved. But, perhaps the postcards will give that person a change of heart. Keep on going.
