Christinee, the part where you said you can't seem to get one together because it doesn't seem to be important to anyone else, well I can completely relate to that. I find that people on pet forums don't seem to take into account that we all take time out of our daily lives to come onto these forums to discuss our pets because we love them more than life itself, but most people out there don't take their pets as seriously. That is one of the main reasons puppy mills still thrive despite our best efforts to get them to shut down. The general public just doesn't care as much as we do. If I were to try to "form a search party", I would come up empty handed as well. People have lives and families and have to work. It's easy for other people to say what they would do in this situation, but in reality, it's much harder. I think you are doing EVERYTHING you can possibly do and MORE. You really need to stop beating yourself up so much!!! You are doing more than the average person by even coming here and enlisting the help of all the fellow Yorkie lovers who are willing to step up and try their best, even from afar. *tons of hugs and prayers* |
My heart just breaks for you and your baby and I pray that he is found safe soon. |

Thank you. And I am more than thankful for every bit of help I have received from each and everyone. I may not have been able to cope had I not had this forum... even with the contriversy. But the fight is not over. It's just soooooooo hard to believe i missed him when he was on my lawn because i was searching a block away for him. everytime i think about it i cry. :( |

I was planning to tonight. |
Christinee, try placing a piece of your clothing out around where the "sighting" have been. ( An old trick hunters use when their dogs stray in the woods.) When the dog picks up their owners scent they will lay on the clothes. It might be worth a try. Good luck, fingers crossed here.. |
I think that after being in a unfamiliar location then being dumped onto the streets (this is wat seems to make the most sense of what happened), he had to be so confused.. my neighbor said he was running across mine and my neighbors lawn for a little bit before running off and never being seen again. I dont' think hell be back on his own. I cant even imagine his state of mind. His world has been turned up side down. I know if hes still on the street and doesn't get pick up and loved by someone he wont last long out there. Flyers are everywhere, so you would think any decent person would call if they had them. I have a consultation with a pet detective tonight. She thinks she can help. I am hanging by a thin string but I cannot just sit and wonder while my benjamin could be out there lost and cold and possible in danger or hurt. He is my baby and trusted me with everything. I need to do everything I can to save him if its possible. Don't stop the prayeres. I believe they are what almost brought him home. keip praying please. Thank you. Ill keep the forum updated. |
Oh my god, I am so sorry for this terrible thing. I can only imagine what you are going thru right now and it makes me sick to my stomach thinking about heartless people in this world for doing such an aweful thing. I hope that you get your baby back and will pray for a safe return. I'm so sorry |
Omigosh! Those people I can't stand them! I can't believe anyone would do that to a dog! Don't worry those greedy no-brains will be found and caught! Don't lose hope! I will pray for your yorkie all the time! Loving Owner of Vinny |

Thank you. It is the worst thing so far in my life I have ever had to go through. Me and that dog were so bonded. Us bumping into each other in the beginning saved both of us. I was going through things at the time and we needed eachother. My life changed and he made me happy and I gave him the love he needed and a happy & healthy life. He came so far since I brought him home. I still catch my self anticipating him waiting at the front door for me when Im going home. its so depressing to remember that he's not there anymore. Makes me not want to go home sometimes. I don't think people who steal pets understand what their doing. Animals are just animals to them. Its clost if not the same as stealing someones kid (probably hurts close to the same) and should be taken more seriooulsy. |
Yes it's just as if not more worse. I'm so upset and wish i could come there and help look. I'm so sorry for what you are going thru and I am praying so hard for you and little B, I feel just terrible. They have no clue what they are doing to you and it makes me so mad. Let me know if there is anything I can do for you. Im so sorry Quote:

Christinee I know lots of people check in daily to see if your ben is home yet but don't always post. Just letting you know I'm still thinking and checking on this thread daily. Thoughts and prayers are with you. |
