Please do not just contact the shelter, go there and check personally. I have seen so many dog breeds mislabeled at shelters so don't just call. Go there yourself to check if he's there. Also when you go ask to see in the sick room to make sure he's not in there .

I'd form a search party & patrol (at the very least) a 6 block area day & night. With 2 witnesses, he's out there. But then, thats me.

I'd like to point out that firstly, not everyone exactly believes in "psychics".

Since this has been pointed out twice here (I think by you), I decided to look into it.

Upon researching this, I haven't found ONE "pet psychic" to offer any sort of guarantee in regards to finances...and they are EXPENSIVE. So Christinee has already said her finances are tight and she is going to give money to someone who potentially could be scamming her with no guarantee?

I googled several of these psychics in her area and all state very clearly that there are no refunds and the longer the pet has been gone, the less likely it is that they can "communicate with it".


I mean, I guess if certain people have lots of money to throw around, sure...but not everyone can afford things like psychics. I certainly couldn't if I were to lose one of my pets looking at these prices listed, and to tell you the truth with all the scams out there , even with all the recommendations listed on their sites, I find many of them to be pretty phony.

Just my thoughts.

Not saying you were holding a gun, and definitely didn't mean to sound snippy if that's how you took it. No need to get so defensive, a gun? Really?

I just wanted to share the information I obtained when I looked into this. It's expensive and fully of phonies and very little guarantees.

Well all want this little guy home! :aimeeyork I'm just sorry the leads so far haven't panned out. Still thinking of you guys Christinee!!

This may be a long shot but check ou this guy, these little guys can wander pretty quick. Found Yorkshire Terrier in Hollywood CA - Fido FinderŪ, they didnt post a pic but that could be for obvious reasons, may as well give them a quick shout to see if its your baby.

I cant seem to get one together. Its not important to anyone else. i got one friend who has been helping. This sucks. Probably was dumped by org. thief. and when i had my chance to get him back i missed him cause i was a block away searching for him now he's not been seen for two days again. my poor baby. he must be so confused. I hope he's ok. He doesn't deserve to be going through this. it's just not fair. pet theft should be a more serious offense. this is easily the worst thing i have ever been through. :(

Awwwwwwwwwwwwww Christine I am so sorry your going through this, it has to be terrible, you are in our thoughts and prayers....

I wish we all lived closer, we would be out there, every single one of us, looking for your baby...

I saw this thing on a show, and I *think* it's in Southern California. I Googled it and can't find any enough but maybe someone else can help - there are these two ladies who own bloodhounds and they are trained to find missing pets. If you give them something that smells like your pet (bed, blanket, whatever) then they can attempt to find that scent.

One couple had their dog go missing, and the bloodhounds had narrowed the scent down to a certain area of town (but not an exact location). The owners put signs up for their missing pet in that area and someone ended up identifying the dog and finding it for them!

I am near Long Beach as well, I will keep an eye out.
