I'm so sorry that you have to go through this on top of what you already went through. As hard as letting him go is, I'm sure you know that you did the most loving thing for him.

Little Piper will be with Corrine and she is just wonderful. She also has Teagan and took excellent care of him as well. They have an excellent surgeon that will do everything to make Piper a happy and healthy little puppy that he deserves to be. You have made a selfless decision in surrendering him to YTNR and they will love him as their own. Shame on this breeder for doing this to you not once but twice. I will keep little Piper in my prayers for a safe surgery and a speedy recovery.

You are a wonderful Momma. I am truly sorry that you had to take this step, and that this horrible breeder did this to you twice. I will be praying for both you and the little fella. What you did was very brave and an inspiration to others whom may be in your shoes one day...

Please do not let this go with the breeder. I am not sure what the laws are, but there's gotta be some protection for you, she sent you two very sick pups, both having life threating conditions...not fare

I am so glad you came to this decision. I understand how difficult it was to do. I can't imagine ever being put in this position myself. It was a very selfless thing to do for your pup!

I have just read one of the most selfless acts I have ever witnessed. To see you, Charlie, love your Piper so much that you are willing to go on without him so that he may go on . You have given you pup life! I know this must be hard but you have done the single most amazing act any mommy can do, you have given him life.

I have already received 2 emails from them! They said they would take him and that they have a surgeon and therapist that work with this type of illness. Just wish I could get him back after I surrender him as NO ONE could love him like I do!! I love him enough to let him go!

I am so glad to hear poor Piper is going to get help and I am filled with tears thinking how brave and loving you are to surrender Piper who you love so much. Well, I got an email from the lady that took Piper on Saturday. He made it to Indianna, had the surgery and is doing well. Here is HIS website for those that wish to view him (also included is the note I wrote to the agency before they took him). The two pics they have are the two that I sent them but I hope to see new pics of him soon! Here is the email she sent me...

"Yes his web page is up and Yes he made it to Indiana and Yes he had his surgery today. All went well and the vet is hopeful that he will recover. He has to stay in the hospital at least until Friday because he's not allowed to move around. On Friday if he can go home we will need to keep him cage confined for 21 days before he can begin physical therapy. I will update his web page as we see improvements. We didn't get him there any too soon how long was he down? I know you loved him dearly, we can tell by how trusting he is with all of us. You did the right thing and I'm sure good things will happen for you soon. You are in my prayers that you are able to find a job and have all your worries behind you."

He's darling! Thank you for posting this update. I'm glad he's had the surgery and I will send special Piper prayers that he will improve daily. I saved his page, so that I can follow his recovery. I hope you are doing ok. I can only imagine that it must feel much like a death to you. I hope, in time, you will recover, too.

Piper is such a doll! I'm so glad he was able to have the surgery. I hope you are doing well and feel good knowing you did what was best for him. Even though it was probably one of the hardest things you have ever done.
