Ellie Pearl and AAI Friends and supports for Ellie, who was diagnosed with Severe AAi/AAS just 21 weeks ago... She is nothing but a living Miracle. She couldn't walk first 11 weeks of birth, then we found out why, then she was in a body cast for 8 weeks, supposed to be 12 but couldn't breathe, so cast came of 4 weeks too early. Today on the 11th week of her ambulatory care- We went back to the incredible facility of Upstate Animal Hospital to her surgeon Dr Keith Allen. He evaluated her, said she looked WONDERFUL and mobility is PERFECT. She is released from his care unless we, God forbid, should ever need him. So a very very happy day for us, and esp Ellie. Now keep supporting us for the wisdom to continue safe conservative healing for her :) |

What wonderful news! Continued prayers for Ellie Pearl! |
I have a 5 month cute little yorkie with the same thing. Unfortunately, I cannot afford the surgery! :( I have applied to several sites for financial assistance but I do not qualify! :(. It is heartbreaking to watch Pipers tiny body try to get up. He is virtuallly paralyzed from neck down. Occasionally he would try to walk, very wobbly, but now he just lays there and waits for me to pick him up. He was letting me know when he had to pee pee but as of yesterday, he no longer lets me know so I have a type of belly band on him that I change out. He seems to be more frustrated than in pain (for now). Sure this will change as he is getting worse on a daily basis. Wish I could afford the surgery but am still paying on the last surgery for my last puppy, Hootie. He had liver shunt surgery! Would appreciate prayers and any advice on how to make him more comfortable! Thank you...Ms. Charlie |

You should post this in the Yorkie Rescue section and or the emergency section to alert some rescue orgs. Put in title "NEED RESCUE HELP IMMEDIATELY" If you really love him, you can help him if you will let a rescue take him. This just breaks my heart:unlove: |
