I know I have not been here in a long time. I think of everyone here and so many people that went out of there way to help. I have stepped back and let things be. IF it is meant to be then one day I will get that call. But I know I went above and beyond what most people would do for their missing pet.This turned my life upside down completely for 5 long months. My household was upside down and no one knew how to deal with me anymore.
I still have to finish 1 more bed for a YT member by next week I need to have that done. Richard I have not forgotten, Everything you did confirms that there are really great people in this world that help so much without ever seeing the person's face in person.

After I fell in love with Cookie I used to say " God is going to teach me a very hard lesson and take him away from me just when I've completely fallen in love with this little furbaby. Since I hated pets of any kind and Cookie changed that 100% I had 5 yrs to form the biggest bond between a pet and owner.

I still look occasionally to see if you and Cookie have been reunited. I can only hope that whoever has Cookie loves him like he deserves; but its obvious that no one can love him more than you.

It's good you are getting your life back to normal because I don't think I could do it so quickly. As I drive around Port St. Lucie I look around hoping I'll see someone walking a Yorkie as I would stop and question them. Lorraine

I think about you and Cookie every single day, every time I hold my yorkie in my arms, every time she gives me a kiss, every time she snuggles up with me in bed.... I pray to god, from the bottom of my heart, that you will one day have him back in your arms, and he will cover your face with his wet kisses... I can't think of anyone more deserving than you.
In the mean time, try and enjoy your life with all the ones around you that love you and care about you. Enjoy little Monica and the rest of the gang, and keep doing all the wonderful things you have been doing for other people. you are a great person. I have not met you but I just know it.

I have follow this thread for long time but I've never known what to say. Know that whenever I light a candle for Terry, Cookie gets a candle too.

I don't stop in here often and just now saw this post. I cannot express how very sorry I am that you have lost your Cookie. That is so heartbreaking that I felt like crying just reading about it. :( I will hope and pray he is one day returned to you.

Gen, I am so glad to see that God has answered one of my and others prayers!! Sometimes we get so caught up in focusing on what we want to see happen that we don't realize the prayers that he does answer. I prayed very hard every morning and evening that God would give you the strength to get thru this terrible situation and of course the rest of the prayer was that Cookie and you would be reunited. I am truly very happy to read that you have taken back some control of your life. Even though this had to be a very hard step for you, it was one that I feel you had to take, and for that I am very proud of you. Keeping you in our prayers, Love Joey, Cabella and Sharon

Just know Gen, none of us have given up on you finding Cookie. He is out there and someone has him... At one point he will get loose and get back to you.
