I just wanted to add my belated, yet heartfelt...happy birthday wishes...to Cookie. If only my wishes would come true...Gen would have Cookie back in her arms this very moment...Oh how I wish this were true!!! |

Wow! I sure hope he's still in Florida. We may have an answer to that in a week or two. I know that they won't let him fly without papers, and they can't get papers without seeing a vet, and a vet would be sure to scan him..... Escape by car is something that I put in the back of my mind. I hope you're wrong, but it's good that the flyers were out there! |

I am so sorry! Just today my little Penny got out of our gate. I had let her out back to play, and after 15 minutes noticed she was gone. I freaked out, and started calling her name. Our neighbor across the street said he saw a lady walking with a baby in a stroller, and she picked up a small dog that was in the street. She headed away with it. I was so scared, but I continued to drive up and down every street calling her and asking every person that was outside. It worked, because several people I talked to saw the lady. I finally got to a group of children who were out in a yard 6 blocks from my house. I stopped to ask if they had seen her. They pointed to the house across the street. A guy had her on a leash. He seemed like he was waiting to see if someone came by looking for a lost dog. My story had a happy ending, so don't give up hope. Go all over the neighborhood and talk to everyone. Someone may have seen him. I will definitely make sure my gate is secure. |
I am sure that when Gen reads the "offers" to put up fliers, she will send you one as well. I think it's great that you want to help as well.....I check this thread every morning and then again before bed..... Rose and Levi |

Rose, with angels like you and your husband our world is a much better place. We have an RV and travel quite a bit but would never have thought of this. Wow you guys are the greatest. I personally know how much time this took and the love and care that went into doing it. This is what makes this sometimes ugly world, a beautiful place like God meant it to be. Just wanted to check in because I have not posted here in several days. I am doing good and I am focusing on living and moving on. There will never be a day that I dont think of Cookie several times a day. His name is like a constant reminder everywhere. Today I received a scam email and it really angered me!! Some woman claiming to be a pastor said she found my yorkie asking for pictures as proof that he is mine and she will ship him back to me but I would be responsible for paying traveling/shipping fees because she is now in Nigeria lol. She said she found him on the street and kept him but now is in Nigiria... I emailed her back and told her to ask God to forgive her for such a horrible thing she was trying to do to me. I did send her 4 pictures BUT all pictures had text written over his face so she could NOT use these pictures. She claimed that if I didnt want to show her proof that I was only trying to claim someone elses's dog! Thank you God this woman was not sitting in front of me. THANK YOU GOD. Gen |
Wow! People are just messed up, seriously! :mad: I think of Cookie everyday and still hope he is one day reunited with you and your family. |
