| ![]() It truly seems like the OP could not care less about Emma. She has not once addressed the issue of Emma amidst pleas from YT members on this thread. That in itself makes her look shady and puts her reputation as a breeder in serious question. Now, I seriously doubt any and everything she has said in this entire thread. Going back to the first few pages of this thread, the seller is validating the OP completely. The seller does not want the dog back. She should not be allowed to have Emma back, because she obviously doesn't give a d**n about her. The seller's credibility is down the tubes as far as I'm concerned. I've seen and heard enough. *disgusted*

| ![]() I hope Emma finds a home where she is loved and also she'll be the only child. I am so tempted to just take her but I have 3 girls already and I know emma needs a home where she is the only child.

| ![]() Please don't jump on me for saying this, for I may very well be ignorant and missing some very important detail to this story (and if that's so I'm sorry), but isn't it possible that this ad is for a completely different dog? Emma is a very common name for dogs...and the face in the picture is quite typical of a yorkie. I guess I'm just trying to give seller and buyer benefit of the doubt.. |

Thor's Human Donating Member | ![]() Teiya: since it appears that the seller has washed her hands of the matter, and it looks like you have some contacts, can you try to re-home this dog? The appropriate thing would be for the breeder to take Emma back, but it doesn't look like this is going to happen. Can you find it in your heart to help Emma find her family? I understand that you will want to sell her to recoup some of your costs. I'm sure people here will be willing to help to make sure she goes to the right home (under a s/n contract, as you mentioned)?

Let me be the first to donate $50.00 to help Emma find a home. Come on everyone... put your money where your mouth is, even if it is only $10.00. Ann, can someone at YT be responsible for holding the money and helping Emma?

The requirements for Emma's placement will be a single dog home with NO children and I, personally, will have her spayed prior to placement to ensure she is never bred. Emma is not breeding stock. Her body is too long, her nose too long and her haircoat is wirey. Not at all a good specimen to breed. Breeding is done to IMPROVE the breed, not make a profit. A good breeder makes no money. I have a close friend of mine who is a breeder here in Utah. Her beagle's have best in show twice at Westminster.

| ![]() Wow, been reading this all day. Honestly, I hate to sound harsh and rude because I love this place and I don't want anyone to think I'm rude or mean, but, most of us are adults, why are people acting like they are in high school arguing about a boy or a stupid gym shirt? This dog needs a home. Bottom line, end of story. If the breeder refuses to take her back, then the buyer should sell her to recoup some of her cost as stated by QuickSilver. Just let the lessons be learned that you should go see the dog in person before buying and never ever post wrong information if you want to be seen as a respectable breeder. I have yet to buy my first yorkie since the two I have were given to my fiancé and I, but after reading all this, I'm going to cover myself in every way possible. Again, all in all. Stop fighting and lets all just help find a new home for this dog and know that Teiya isn't wrong here and she should be helped finding this dog a new home. I can put in $10 or $20 as soon as I get paid. Last edited by Tigerlilyselene; 03-26-2009 at 07:56 PM. |

| ![]() This is the response I got from Chelsy when I emailed her concerned for Emma: I hope she does not mind. Re: Yorkie EmmaThursday, March 26, 2009 11:20 PM From: "chelboucher@aol.com" <chelboucher@aol.com>Add sender to Contacts To: *******@***** Emma is not my dog. I was advertising her for someone who contacted me for help. I do everything I can to find great homes for dogs, but I was COMPLETELY misled in this situation. I merely put what she told me on my website. I was told that her husband surprised her with this dog, and she was larger than she wanted, so she wanted me to sell her. I didn’t know she was aggressive, and there was any problem with this dog, or about any of the false advertising. She gave me the pictured I had posted, and I thought she was a cute little girl. Thankfully, a client that I have worked with in the past informed me of what was going on with this dog, and I immediately took her off my website. I have worked so hard to build my reputation, and I sure hope this situation hasn’t ruined it for me. I work with breeders who have bred yorkies for over 40 years, and I sell their dogs for them. I generally don’t sell for other people besides the few breeders that I know and respect, but I wanted to help and all it has done it hurt me. I would like to stay completely out of this situation. I have nothing to do with this dog other than that I was trying to find her a forever home where she could be comfortable and happy. I hate seeing dogs get tossed around. I hope this situation can be resolved for the sake of the poor dog! ![]() Thanks for the e-mail! Chelsy -----Original Message----- From:*****@***** To: chelboucher@aol.com Sent: Thu, 26 Mar 2009 8:40 pm Subject: Yorkie Emma I was wondering if you knew what is going on with this thread on YT? Is Emma your dog? Thank you for your time http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/gen...e-dog-you.html |

Donating YT 500 Club Member | ![]() I would be willing to help out, IF there is action taken against the breeder......at the very least she should NEVER AGAIN be allowed to sell a dog on YT!

I've also said I'd hold funds in PayPal as a go-between for Gina and Jasmanea.

| ![]() Teiya, I think we can turn all of this negative into a positive. I, personally would hate to see her returned to the seller. It is obviously not in Emma's best interest. Let's see what we as a group can do to help Emma. We surely can help offset the cost to spay and help reimburse you for some of your expenses. Let's forget the seller at this point and focus on Emma's future. It looks brighter now than it did 10 minutes ago!

| ![]() This is unbelievable. At first when I read this earlier today I told myself I was not going to post anything in this thread. Then I went to work and all I could think about is Emma. Then when I got off of work I had to get on here and check this thread and another on a lost dog. Hoping for good results to my suprise, I get on here and see more disturbing news. Teiya, I do understand that this is probably hard for you. But how can you come on here and ask us if these pictures are the same dog or not? Meanwhile your friend is posting an ad with those Same pictures? and you even said you truly believe that is NOT the same dog. It just doesnt make sense to me that your friend who is a "good breeder" would post a dog she has never seen with her reputation at sake. The sad part is the ad is a bunch of BS according to you, because you said the description jasmanea listed was false. Would you really want someone to go through what your going through? I see you say that you had no idea but it makes no sense to me. I understand this is your money but can you for one second think about Emma. This is such a shame I do believe you deserve a refund since she wasnt as described, but I do think the shipping should be your lose since you chose to have her shipped. But then that leaves me with one question; why couldnt you get Amanda I believe she was listed as an adult on your friend Chelseys website? I know if my friend was a breeder I'd definitely get one from her over shipping one from someone you dont know. And Jasmenea please do the right thing for Emma and refund the buyer her money back and find a forever home for her. She needs to be in a family with no kids and not other pets. I think both of you are acting childish, its time to do the right thing and step up. Do whats right for Emma. Please give Emma lots of hugs and kisses from us!
