I guess you beat me to that one. Can you tell me how to do the screenshot on the website one, as I still have that one up without refreshing it..? Ok there can't be anything wrong with posting that after all the other posts with cursing etc. have been allowed to go on! |
I'll clarify now that I KNOW (I didn't until now) Chesley is a friend of mine who KNEW about this transaction and how awful it went and how the dog wasn't working out. I talked to Chesley briefly a few days ago via email and told her of the situation and what was going on, included the ad where Jasmanea listed the dog here and told her how Jasmanea was uncooperative and I feared I needed to find Emma a good home as I was doubtful that she would take the dog back. I didn't ask her to list her. Just wanted to know if she knew anyone that was looking. Chelsey hadn't seen the dog. Only the pictures posted here. She was trying to help me. Never did I say Emma is breeding stock. She's not. I just called Chelsey and told her to take the ad down because Emma is NOT the type of dog Chesley represents. She's a good breeder. If I do have to place Emma myself (which it looks like I will because the "breeder" won't work with me), she will be placed with a spay contract and nothing less. She'd also be placed in a home with no other dogs and children. All in all, Chelsey was just trying to help me since Jasmanea won't. I don't care what anyone says. I'm grateful for that. |

i dont usually get involve in twisted drama. but i really do care about the dog. I am just amazed by how the breeder and the OP is handling this. IMO, I will never ever buy from a breeder that does not care about what's going on with the pup that she sold. I am glad I got all three from amazing breeders. SHAME ..SHAME..SHAME.. |

Ya, pretty interesting that you as a *breeder* refuses to do what is right and put EMMA first. Totally interesting to me........ |

Wow and your from Utah and just so happened to come to this thread today to defend everyone. ;) |

If you care as any responsible, reputable breeder would/should do, get Emma back - spay her and place in her in a pet home. This is tarnishing your reputation! |

yeah how can she sell her as a breeder yet Chelsey couldn't? Chelsey looked at the ad and the pictures of Emma and figured that's what she was since that's what Jasmanea advertised her as. Had Chelsey seen the true likeness of the dog in person, she'd never have listed her. I didn't even know she did. She just felt bad for me for being in the situation I'm in because someone lied to me. She doesn't deal with ill bred dogs. In fact, you'll have a hard time GETTING a puppy out of Chelsey without background checks. I just didn't want a puppy, which is why I was looking for an adult. |
I just hope that all the drama can stop, and that the well-being of the dog takes precedence! |

Buyer - Seller: WHAT DO YOU PROPOSE TO DO ABOUT EMMA? |
Quote:
amanda, I don't think the breeder cares. sadly, the pup will end up in a wrong hand..and the cycle will continue. really sad but it's the truth.. |
Wow. Instead of putting Emma first and taking her back, and refunding the OP, you'd rather spend the WHOLE DAY trying to sling mud? That's very sad:( You may have salvaged your reputation as a breeder if you only just did the right thing in the first place. I'm so sad for Emma. What about HER?!?!?!?! |
Quote:
Apparently she doesn't care so much about Emma, which shows just what kind of breeder she really is :( Poor Emma - hopefully someone will come to their senses soon and find you a nice loving forever home. |

like i said above, they don't care about emma..emma will end up with wrong people..the dirty cycle will continue...poor dog.. |

The same thing as when I started this thread. Seller takes back the dog and promises to place her in an appropriate situation, refunds me my initial $1050 (purchase price of the dog + shipping to me) and places the funds in escrow (even a mod here at YT for instance). I will pay out of my pocket the vet bills I've incurred on my dog being attacked and the return shipping for Emma. It's a fair split. We both take repsonsibility for the situation and learn a VALUABLE lesson. Hers: evaluate the dog and the home prior to placement so you don't set the dog up for failure. Me: See the dog before I purchase. |

Prayers for Emma from Lucky and I. God bless you lil Emma and we hope you can find your forever home. We will be praying extra long tonight for you. |

But still, it does look like it happened because you had a discussion with somone because you were concerned about placing Emma more appropriately. You are still the only one in the deal that seems to care at all about finding Emma a home. The seller certainly wants to wipe her hands of it except to try her best to make you look bad in this thread. That is not what a responsible breeder would do. Responsible breeders demand that dogs be returned to them for rehoming when it does not work out and the Yorkshire Terrier Club of America even has this as a requirement in their Code of Ethics. I am glad you are not trying to push Emma off as a breeder and would require a spay contract if you do wind up having to rehome her because the breeder will not step up. It would really be sad after all she has been through if she wound up sitting in a stacked wire cage, producing litter and litter with no companionship or love. Because the ultimate responsibility still lies with the breeder, I still believe you are due a refund. But I think there were a ton of lessons to be learned on all sides in this fiasco! |
