It is mostly for taking them into places...such as stores or whatnot. I also don't want Cali walking on the ground at places like PetSmart and Petco or even the vet because of all of the germs. A carrier is great when I want to take her into places, but would also like to have my hands free. To each their own..

I think there are a lot of stores that would not be tolerant of dogs if they were on their leashes and had access to the floors and to other things and customers. I have not seen any comments on this forum that would indicate any one here substitutes carrier carrying for a bit of good exercise. I have much appreciated the stroller too for the times, when we have taken our pups to a very crowded place and I feared for their safety if left on the ground to walk.

![]() I hate it that the first thing I think of is Paris Hilton walking around with her little dog in her purse. She is one of the reasons that irresponsible breeders are making a killing right now. People are getting itty bitties and then they end up bored with them because the dog ends up not wanting to just sit in a purse all day long and be a toy or a doll. I have been seeing a lot of ads for tiny dogs wanted just so they can ride in a purse all day. Those people that advertise like that dont realize that these are live creatures and not just accessories.

| ![]() My husband and I have these, and we just LOVE them. I like them because the dogs legs aren't dangling out. |

He loves to lay in it backwards and watch the people walking behind us and will curl up and nap after he's had enough sight seeing and dog parks. About 3 hours into our day. ![]() | |

| ![]() I bought one of those Kari-Pet carriers for Lucy. After her injury she doesn't walk well enough to take her for a walk with the other dogs. The carrier came earlier this week and I was very diappointed. I measured her correctly, but the carrier doesn't fit her right. It rubs under her front legs. I even measured her again after I saw it didn't fit, but according to their chart it was the correct size for her. It also is put together so that the fabric I chose is on the inside. So the carrier is made inside-out. I have tried to contact the company twice by email with no response. |
