With the growing trend of people using animals as accessories, I am very turned off by the many carriers and purses that people use with their pets. I use a carrier for my baby because she cannot walk, my dog can, so I dont understand it.
I'm not trying to sound cold or anything, I just want to understand why these are so popular and why one would need to carry their dog so much that they require some sort of carrier.
i actually just want it for when i carry him around the house because it's completely hands-free. sometimes i can't watch him constantly when i need to do things around the house, and i don't like hearing him scream and cry when i confine him to the kitchen, so i thought it would be easier to just carry him with me while i do stuff, and i'd have BOTH my hands free, instead of just one (while he's in the other). lol! i already have a carrier that looks like a purse that hangs on my shoulder for ocassions when i might take him in a store or on a trip, but it's just to bulky to carry around the house, and it falls off my shoulder with certain movements. with the karipet, it seems like i'd have more freedom to move/bend over, etc...
