With the growing trend of people using animals as accessories, I am very turned off by the many carriers and purses that people use with their pets. I use a carrier for my baby because she cannot walk, my dog can, so I dont understand it.
I'm not trying to sound cold or anything, I just want to understand why these are so popular and why one would need to carry their dog so much that they require some sort of carrier. |
My DH and I go into NYC on Sundays about every seven weeks or so. We park the car and walk everywhere. We get there about 10 AM and head back out around 7PM. No way Milo can walk that much, so into his bag he goes. Also, he has to be in his bag on the subways and busses, not to mention looking around the shops.
He loves to lay in it backwards and watch the people walking behind us and will curl up and nap after he's had enough sight seeing and dog parks. About 3 hours into our day.
