| So Jack just got neutered and he wont stop licking the area even with a cone on.....should I just take it off and try a onesie? Another thing is he hasnt peed or pooped and its been since 3pm yesterday that he hasnt gone. I need some advise on what to do with him. I am not used to them licking so much.... I am just a nervous mommy I guess.......

| I had better luck using a onesie with Rebel. He also didn't poop until the next day after I got him home. Good luck with Jack!

| i know what you're going through. i cried when coco pooped and peed for the first time after neuter because i was so worried about him. if he's eating and not pooping, try giving him some canned pumpkin; just plain pumpkin, nothing added.

| Just went thru it, Hot Rod got neutuered 5 days ago. He's been good about the stitches, licking every once in awhile. Been jumping up and down on sofa and wrestling with 9 week old pup! I notice he gets tired more quickly. He slept for almost 2 days and was still a little groggy the 3 rd day.

| Whelp, its been almost a day and half and Jack is pretty much back to being himself, even with his bad ears when he knows he shouldnt be doing something.... So he finally pooped and after that he is pretty much playful and back to himself! He has internal, dissolving stiches so he doesn't have to get any out, thankfully. He is still licking the area, and I had to take the cone off since it wasnt working anyways and he was getting to the area with it on. So I went out and bought a onesie. He didnt want to move when I put it on, so I took that off too and will probably put it on when we go to bed tonight. SO everything is getting better as the day goes on...... I just cant wait till its healed completely! Thanks for all the comments, they have helped me TONS!

| Donating YT Addict | My Ozzy is getting neutered next month and I was wondering what size onesie you all got and how did you customize it? With just a hole for his tail and butt? What about if he has to pee? If some one could post a picture that would be great!! Thanks!

| Sorry took me so long to reply..... I bought him a 3-6 months onesie and cut out the tail when I put it on so it would be in the right area. I didnt leave it on that long cause he wouldnt walk or even move. He got the hint from having it on for just a little while not to lick anymore. I would buy a three pack, so you have extras incase he soils one. Just keep it on here and there and they get the hint! They are too smart! He is almost completely healed and its only been a week tomorrow..... Here is his picture....
