If you have more questions just PM me and I will help you whatever way that I can. But you need to buy several because you will need to change them if he pees on them. I use them when I bring a new pup home since they have a tendency to mark then. He shouldn't be able to rip it off because they have a velcro closure that is pretty tight. Diapers are made of paper and belly bands are fabric. Belly Bands :: Yorkie Haven Rescue Boutique

When are you moving? Hopefully not until his hormones settle down and you have some time to work on his indoor manners. Dogs who are neutered later like Pierre and have already started marking can be very challenging to break of the habit.

Hormones settling down may not break the habit. You will really have to be very diligent about retraining him. Don't allow him any freedom in your house and keep him tied to your waist at all times. Treat it like a house training issue. A new house will mean new territory to claim as his own so his urge to mark will be very strong. Dogs that never mark at home often mark in new surroundings. It is possible he may have to wear belly bands if you can't break the habit.
