Prayers continue for all involved, with a special prayer for little Max....with this diagnosis, does this now mean surgery?

Thank you for your thoughts and prayers. The Ophthalmologist at Purdue had warned our Vet that it could develop in his right eye.

Thank you for your prayers, esp. for little Max. This morning, our Vet felt more optimistic about the Tacrolimus drops being effective. His left eye showed some improvement, but his right eye, the Schirmer score was worse.

She will repeat the Schirmer test in 6 weeks.

Chris-Sheila and I actually thank you. I've read through this thread and I found some ot the things posted unbelieveable.

Our Vet was optimistic this morning about the Tacrolimus drops. His Schirmer score had improved slightly in his left eye, but was worse in his right eye.

So, we hold our breaths, use the drops, and pray, that the drops resolve the problem.

Are there puppy lemon laws in your state? Buster came with kennel cough which verged on Pneumonia and they had to pay his medical bills for the treatment of kennel cough. They did not pay for his Giardia or Coccidia issues.

Don't mean to interfere but I believe there are no lemon laws there. Rich and Sheila will correct me if I am wrong. I thought that Rich may not be online with all he is going through and might not answer quickly, so I put in my two cents!

The OP opted (out of love that I understand) to renig on the terms of the contract. There is not a living being that can be guaranteed to be healthy human or pup, we all know this and regardless of how healthy genetics have proven to be there can always be exceptions. This is a perfect example of the exception.

My only hope is that Max is taken care of and I'm glad OP has decided to do the very best for him. Good Luck and prayers to all in this most unfortunate and sad situation.

p.s. this thread is so distorted on every angle that even after reading twice.....I'm just dizzy. were some posts deleted or something?

WOW.... EVERY STORY HAS TWO SIDES. You have no trouble with trashing the word of the OP where exactly is the proof from the breeder.

Certainly holding my breathe here for all of you. Hope that the drops resolve the problem. Gosh, with all the love you have pouring out and into this little darling means anything, Max should surely be well and all this would disappear! Darn! I feel for the three of you. As someone posted earlier than mine, so glad that you all have each other. I just wish that it would end happily... soon!!!! Truly all the very best to you and yours!
