You could go to the top of this thread and click on the sticky that says "Puppy Development" made by the Admin.....Open it and click on the Admin's name and a drop down menu with show a selection to choose from...click on "send a private message"......

I understand completely why you are saying this. There is an unwritten human rule that we offer sympathy in the wake of death. But there is also a human tendency to want to understand why and how something happened. And it is very human to become suspicious when things look a bit shaky.

We are all very sad for Stella. But that doesn't mean that we should just shut up and offer our condolences. If an outrage here will keep that from happening again, great! Then everyone should speak their mind.

If you own and breed animals, you are responsible for those animals and you need to stand up to what happened to them, whether it was your fault or not. And I'm not saying that any of this was her fault! But it's their responsibility and the breeder needs to accept that. If you can't, you shouldn't breed.

Marlize, I understand what you are saying and would agree in the abstract. This case is different in that what happened to the pups (which I was critical of, too) and what happened to Stella are two wholly separate things. I don't see how anyone could fairly transfer any outrage from one to the other. There is no benefit to anyone, now or in the future, from doing that. I read your earlier post and thought it was fair so I'm a little confused by this post.

I'm not trying to play the 'thought police' here but there is a time and place for everything. There were snide remarks made to Shasha within minutes of Stella's passing. I find this tasteless and shameful. Stella died from the (apparent) sudden onset of a rare condition that was only diagnosed barely a day before her passing. The poor woman didn't have a chance to collect her wits about her with this before Stella was gone. She certainly wasn't deserving of derision at that time.

This is all just how I see it and anyone is free to have their own opinion. I'm not asking that people be overly nice or candy coat things....only to use a little basic decorum.

While I agree with you in most cases "in my opinion" ours differ in this case. While I do have sympathy and am sadden with Stella's passing, there is just something in my gut that says something else and I always go with my gut, can't help it and while I do feel sorry for the owner of Stella I dunno, something just doesn't sit right in my gut and that is the reason for what little remarks I made but I only posted twice or maybe three times throughout this whole thread and read the whole thread...one can fault me for my remarks that's ok I truly don't care because they are my opinions and oh well...I said I was done with it and I am now...and I"m truly sorry and sadden by the passing of a sweet dog.
