| Gooy discharge and now blood????? HELP Hi.. my stella is due is 10 days.... this morning she was off her food (not like her) took her for a little walk and gooey discharge came out, and now ive just noticed some drips of blood.... she isnt due yet... is very big... she had 7 on her last litter... im really worried about her especially seeing the blood.... she cant be in labour so early????? |

| The mucus does not concern me, normal at this time..but red blood is a concern. It is less of a concern then green ...that is decaying blood from a detached placenta..I would have your vet check her as soon as possible for any problems..best wishes.. |

| just checked her hi thanks so much for getting back..... ive put her in my bedroom on her own... she still has a little blood around her...... our vets are closed till tuesday due to bank holiday and there isnt an emergency one!...... do u think she is going to go into labour.... will she loose her pups... im absolutely devasted this is happening to her..... i dont know wat to do? |

| call around yes..im doing that now as i type this and waiting to speak to pets medic.. god i hope she is going to be ok.... wat do u think could have caused this? |

| I would keep as calm as possible so as not to upset your Momma to be. Can you call your Vet at home? I'm sending prayers your way that all will be fine.

| Are you sure it is actual blood..sometimes the mucus discharge can take on a reddish brown tinge..it can stain the bedding a bit...but it is not blood...blot her vulva and if it is fresh, red blood, then something is amiss...best wishes |

| Pet Medics Hi .. just to let u all know who kindly replied to me.... as i type this Stella is undergoing a cesarian to have her pups... one is breach and stuck..... hope to god she and the pups will be ok.... will let u know.x |

| All over! Hi again,i just spoke to the vet hospital, Stella has had her cesarian,is still groggy but ok.TG.... she had 8 PUPS but 1 died, the others a bit premature and are weak and the next 24 hours will see how it goes.. mum doing ok,still abit groggy!!!!!!!!.Good job i brought them to Vet when i did as the placentas had started to comeaway from the pup!..... they are doing wat they can and i have to call back at 12 tonight... i hope they pull through.... x |
