I understand completely why you are saying this. There is an unwritten human rule that we offer sympathy in the wake of death. But there is also a human tendency to want to understand why and how something happened. And it is very human to become suspicious when things look a bit shaky.
We are all very sad for Stella. But that doesn't mean that we should just shut up and offer our condolences. If an outrage here will keep that from happening again, great! Then everyone should speak their mind.
If you own and breed animals, you are responsible for those animals and you need to stand up to what happened to them, whether it was your fault or not. And I'm not saying that any of this was her fault! But it's their responsibility and the breeder needs to accept that. If you can't, you shouldn't breed.
