Can you tell me more about the product you mentioned? You can PM me or send me an email. I know a few friends who might want the product. Where do you buy it?

We'd hoped for a January litter but it may now be a February litter; time will tell.

I think Ollies puppies might have died. She is not as big as she was and has lost 4 ounces. :( She acts fine, still eating, but has had loose stools the past couple of days.

oh girl i am so sorry, why do you think she reabsorbed the pups?
is hard to guess and I know quite a sad day ....

I don't know, I have not treated her or anyone else with chemicals or anything out of the ordinary.

Not sure she has even reabsorbed, since she is so far along, I'm guessing she willd deliver them. Yes I am very sad and she will be too if they are all stillborn.

She loves her babies and grieves shen she loses one. She did this once before, but that time I had treated her for earmites, so I was sure that is what caused it, now I'm not so sure. That time I had another new litter, so I gave her one of those puppies, cause she just cried and cried for her babies.

Jeanie, I really hope that this is not what has happened. :( If they have died, would she start to show signs of being sick? I think it is a good sign that she is still eating and acting fine.

Hi Laurie!!

Good luck to you both...I know how nerve-wracking it is! This is only Livi's second litter and the first was delivered through c-section so this feels like I am going through it all for the first time again since I didn't get to help last time.

Keep us posted and be sure to share pictures of your new little ones. :)

From what others have posted, it sounds like she might be reabsorbing them, and no they do not get sick. The puppies just disappear.

Livi is getting close now. Very exciting for you.

I am so sorry...maybe this is not the case, though. Losing 4 oz. would also make me wonder. :( Keep us posted on her.

Yes, Livi is exactly 7 weeks today and I am VERY VERY VERY excited to meet her babies (but also equally scared of the delivery part!!!). I will post pictures in a few minutes of her "baby belly". :) Me, Geoff and my kids started talking to her tummy and Livi's eyes bugged out and she looked at us like we had lost our minds. So, I think we will stop doing that because she is not a fan. :p :eek:

That's pretty funny. Does the vet think she will be able to deliver normally this time? Are you going to get xrays?

If she is losing them I'm glad that it is now, it would be hard to lose them like you did.

Yes, no concerns about delivery (on the vet's part anyway) ;) He did a c-section last time because she was there...Geoff had rushed her there that morning because she started pushing and instantly blackish/greenish discharge came out. We knew that was bad so Geoff grabed her and headed to the vet. She had S'mores in the van without problems...Geoff didn't even know that she had him. He got to the vet, looked in her kennel and said that he saw "a piece of poop" then heard it squeak. :rolleyes: Poor S'moresy being called a piece of poo. :p Anyway, that is why Livi was already at the vet clinic. He did an ultrasound and found the other puppies' heartrates were very weak and he then decided to do the c-section. He feels like everything looks good this time, but I do have his emergency number just in case. ;) As for x-rays...I do plan to take her back in for one. I just feel like it will give me an idea of how many to expect.

I sure hope things go better this time. I think in your situation xrays would be good. I hope you get to be in on the delivery this time.

Oh, and the blackish/greeish discharge was because she did indeed have a placental abruption with S'mores. He was certainly a little miracle baby. Can you believe with how tiny the litter was, he was our "big" one...all 2.5 oz. of him. :p ;)

Wow he was tiny. I don't like to see those 2 ouncers. Much prefer them in the 3 to 5 ounce range.

S'mores's sisters were both 2oz....Phoebe passed the day that we brought her home. We took her back to the vet that day and he felt that since this litter was preemies that her heart and/or lungs were not fully developed. She passed that day and we lost Strawberry days later. We tried EVERYTHING to save them! :(

You have NO idea how excited I will be if I see 3-5oz. puppies!!! I literally start to shake when I think about Livi having more 2oz. babies!!

I am always so amazed at such a new member to make judgements like this...Then to research tells me you do not have much to do with your time..

I love it here but do not have time to check into members affairs..I guess this is why I stay away so much.. and I think if you ask any of the show breeder they may tell you that many breed back to back and then rest.. I have not made a habit of doing this but it does happen..
Many breeders do not come on the forum and discuss when they breed and how often... I can see why!!!!
I think it would take too much of my energy and time to reasearch a person like this and does make me wonder why one would even state this on a post.. :confused::confused:

Yes Tammy I remember watching all about this litter and smore's and so enjoyed keeping updated.. I know it was an aweful time for you, and I understand for I have been there also.. I know you are always right there with the vets no matter what.. praying all goes good this time..

Thanks Ann (for everything!) :) There was so much that went on behind the scenes of Yorkietalk and you were such a sweet support to me! I am praying for a perfectly healthy litter this time (NO PREEMIES!!).

Livi is 7 weeks today so I thought I would share her current "baby belly". I hope others will also post their tummy pictures. :)

It's her second litter, she had two pups in her first litter.

Those babies are amazing Are they still partis if they are completely white? Since the term parti refers to random spotting?

Still hoping that Ollie has puppies to deliver in January, and Harlie is due in February. I'm looking for a golden parti in that litter.

I'm not sure what AKC will call them. The boy does have white spots on his head.
