Thanks for posting that link Brenda! |
Aww Tammy, I am so sorry you are so stressed out.:( I know how you must be feeling, and I wish you could relax and get in a really good nap and/or night's sleep. Have you been sleeping well at all? The way you sound here, it seems you need sleep just about as much as you need Livi to have those puppies. You're not online now, so I hope that is what you are doing. Put hubby in charge of the kids & Livi and you sleep for a while; I'm just hoping you are able to rest when you can. I'm still here with (((((good vibes))))), prayers, and well wishes!:) |

I'm sorry, I got Livi's due dates mixed up, she is running later than I thought. See what the doctor says tomorrow - hopefully he'll have some good news about her impending birth for you :-) |
Ollie is showing no signs of labor. I don't think she will have them tonight. |
Star had puppies 4 Attachment(s) Star Just had her puppies. The first was a beautiful golden boy. Unfortunately he came out breach and did not survive. The second puppy was almost all white again. His right ear and around his eyes is the only color on him. |

Rose and Sue~ I am sure a good night's rest would do wonders for me!!! I have been sleeping maybe 2-4 hours each night. I still get up several times a night to recover my children. I cannot stand the thought of them being cold! Anyway, no...not a lot of sleep lately with Livi being due and Landon getting over Pnuemonia. I will be just fine, though. I am getting BEYOND excited to see these puppies!!!!! |

Congrats on the puppies. I am gonna be in trouble cause I am getting a soft spot for the parties :D and the chocolates and the goldens...lol good thing there are pics on here for me to dream over:animal-pa |
Zane congratulations on the beautiful baby. Sorry you lost one. Ollie is sleeping no sign of babies tonight. I plugged in the baby monitor just in case. Tammy I hope you get good news tomorrow. |
2 Attachment(s) Here I am...even though I promised myself that I would be in bed early tonight. Jeanie, I hope Ollie has a perfect delivery! I just took pictures of Livi...my poor baby is so uncomfortable and pitiful right now. You can even tell, just from her face, how big she has gotten. :( I start to complain and then I am remided that it is her that is physically dealing with all of this. |
Wow, I haven't looked at this section for a few days. My things are like a soap opera here. Was looking for puppy pictures, good luck to Livi. I can't wait to see all the announcements. Hugs and Kisses to the new puppies and their moms. |

Tammy...have you told her just how many people are waitng to hear about the arrival of these babies? Maybe that will get her into labor! Will be saying prayers that Livi is able to have these babies on her own this time!! |
awww .. Livi What a beautiful girl! She does look miserable. I am praying she has them soon. |
Tammy, I am sorry you are going through so much stress. I hope and pray that everything goes well at the vet today. Please keep us updated. Hopefully, you got some sleep. I'm sending good vibes and prayers with you as well. |

You continue to have my attention......at least it's Friday, my short day at work, so maybe I won't miss anything. I'll be checking back in later this morning. |
Nothing from Ollie. She's waiting for Livi to go first. |
Thanks everyone!! We are leaving soon to get some breakfast....McDonald's, here we come! ;) We can't take my daughter to school until atleast 8:20 so getting Livi to the vet clinic by 9 will be pushing it since they are 30 minutes from here. I was up with Livi from 2:45-5ish...just sitting and petting her. I was hoping that something, ANYTHING, would encourage her. She was licking a lot and was biting at her legs again, but that's it and it stops as soon as she goes back to sleep. She ate very little this morning (which is not how she has been lately) but other than that, she is not showing any signs of labor progressing. :( I will let you all know something as soon as I can...just keep in mind that the test will be around 9 and I don't know how long we will be there or what will happen after the test. Please say a prayer that if she does end up needing a c-section, all goes well for her and her little ones. |

Awww Tammy Livi is just beautiful. Hoping things go good at the vet. You both will be in my thoughts as I will be checking for updates throughout the day. I have to say thank you for originally posting this thread Tammy. I have learned a lot from it the last few weeks. Im sure it will help me if and when my fifi delivers. Hoping at that time I will have this much support. Congratulations to all the new mammas. Hoping and praying all upcoming litters arrive timely and safe. Good luck Ollie and Livi. |
Good morning Tammy, i asked my son about the test and he said that is the once they use to determine if a litter is viable before a C section. that way they don't take the babies out too soon.. wishing Livi will have those babies soon, hugs, Carmen in nj |
I hope all is going well for Tammy and Livi. I hope things are going well with Ollie. Warm wishes and prayers going to everybody I almost feel guilty with the news I have, Tiffany just delivered 6 (yes, wow,6, I cant beleive it) I will post pics and updates when we are cleaned up. Congrat Lizzy. That is also a nice size litter :) |
We're home...minus $161, but with added peace of mind. :) We got to the vet clinic about 8:40 and was then told that the vet was in surgery and then had another appointment before they could see us (even though we came in like we were told). The vet tech asked us to come back at 10:15-10:30. I have never felt 100% crazy over this clinic, but have continued to go there because he is repro. specialist. I have always wondered if he didn't rush into Livi's first c-section and there are just other things that bother me and my husband. Soooo, we got back into our car to drive a little before coming back at 10:15. I told my husband my feelings and how I did not feel comfortable with that clinic and that I wanted to take her to vet that has been treating Izzy's luxating patella...that place is WONDERFUL!!! By the way, the repro vet recommended that we do the surgery on Izzy's knees when she was 7 months old....the second one, told us to wait and to start Cosequin and to see if things change (which she is doing FABULOUS on!!!). Long story short, we drove straight to the second clinic to see if they had an opening and they did indeed let us bring her in. :) She had an exam and also an ultrasound and they all were SUPER sweet to Livi and she never one time shook and got scared like she has always done with the repro clinic...infact, she was wagging her tail at them. :) The vet said that she for sure saw/heard 3 heartbeats...if there are more, she said she could not tell, but deinfitely 3. She was grinning huge when she told how excellent they look and everything seems to be going great. She feels that Livi ovulated late and that we are still looking at a couple more days. She said the puppies don't seem to have dropped, not really and that Livi's milk has not come in...which indicated, to her, that she still had a couple more days to go. If she has not had them by Monday, she wants us to bring her back. So, yes, we spent more to find this all out (this vet is more expensive than the repro vet) but we feel better just knowing and hearing from a vet that we trust that things look excellent at this point. :) |
That's excellent news, I'm sure you feel a little better now. Of course it may be a few more nights of little sleep for you but it's peace of mind to know that the pups sound and look good. Glad it was a good experience for Livi too ... sounds like she doesn't like the other doctor. Try to take a nap when you can. Maybe tonight will be the night :p |
