To SweetSophia- I have 2 Yorkies that I love very much, 1 a boy and 1 a girl-I am not a breeder, I am a pet owner, and came by my boy by luck. If they have pups, then I have pups, if they do not, then I do not. It is a simple as that. I do not monitor them, I let them play around the house and outside without supervision. So, to say "Why do let them breed", would indicate that I am doing it for gain. What I am saying is if they have babies, I raise them and I have to find them homes as I cannot keep them with me. I do know a thing or two about AKC/CKC/UKC because when they were born, I did my own research and contacted many people to find out, and have learned much by that. If I have them I make sure they go to nice families and explain in detail what I have learned. I have vet records as I too was curious. I have had them for some time. My dogs are getting older and my theory is if it happens it happens if it doesn't it doesn't -- I don't do it for the gain, but if I have pups, I will sell them to good families to cover my costs.

You've got to be kidding me! You are proving to be an incredibly irresponsible pet owner! YOU have to make sure this DOESN'T happen!! You can NOT sit back with a laissez faire attitude! Especially considering the circumstances here of a genetic defect!! GET IT TOGETHER!!!!!!!!
