Yes we do want to be helpful when we are allowed to. I don't see why we can all be one happy family here at YT. Hope you have a great day. Lee

I want to "TRY" to clear some things up here. You know the OP came on the Breeders Section in March looking for help and some of us (Breeders and NON Breeders) tried to in some nice ways and some not so nice ways give her advice. Maybe we ourselves are trying to be a little kinder to the OP then what we was in March. I know for one I am.

With you not being a Breeder then maybe you don't see our Breeders views such as how it does get aggervating for NON Breeders to come on and post rude thoughts to someone who is in need. I don't understand why you are being so testy about all of our comments.

Maybe in your eyes your comment wasn't rude but it's the way you worded it and how bluntly you put is...You could of said I hope I'm not offending anyone here or put a smiley face at the end to make it SEEM a little kinder.

We Breeders don't need to take a Reality Check when it comes to telling someone to take their Yorkie to the Vet. Some of us are very experienced (Some have 25 yrs plus experience) in Breeding and Whelping Yorkies, and have already walked in their shoes there for it's called sharing WISDOM and EXPERIENCE and HELPING those who really need it and willing to ACCEPT the help we're willing to give them.

I would take the Experience Breeders here WISDOM anyday over top of my VET!!! Really I would. I have come here in time of need with a whelping mother and new born babies and received GOOD life SAVING advice when I could not get ahold of my Vet. Sometimes as a Breeder you don't have TIME to run your whelping mommy or a newborn to the Vet so this is also where Experienced Breeders come on and help SAVE mommies and babies.

I feel as a newcomer yourself and a new owner of a Yorkie puppy you shouldn't be coming on here being rude for one day you very well may need help from us Experienced Breeders and then no one may not want to help you in fear of getting their heads bitten off by you or in fear you'll take our help in the wrong way.

I hope I've not offened you and I hope you can try to see how we feel as Breeders and I hope you have a beautiful day. Theses of course are just my OPOs as a Experienced Breeder. Lee

No this is so so sad that a Non Experienced Breeder has said some rude things to her and to us Experienced Breeders trying to help her and now she is gone in fear of getting a rude comment or a hurtful comment posted to her over her needing advice. I hope she will come back and ask questions so that she can receive the Helpful Advice she may need. Lee

I know Im not a breeder and thats the reason I never answer questions regarding breeding but I do read this section once in a while. heres my my 2 cents, I dont think she was the one who had the OP leave this thread. all she said was take the dog to the vet. you guys jumped on her post and decided to read that as rude. Im pretty sure she could have said something alot more rude than take the dog to the vet. If you look back on the thread you will see that all this could have been avoided had no one made a big stink about her post. you guys (experienced breeders) have turned this thread into drama...for no reason. I just dont get it. I agree that everyone should be nice and respectful to one another but look at how she was treated for just suggesting she take the doc to a vet...the OP came here for advice and she gave her her advice. If you dont agree with her advice then state yours on thats it.

Ya know, I don't think anyone JUMPED on her. A lot could have been avoided if she had just re-read her post. It DID sound rude in the way it was short and blunt. And not just one person felt that way. They ALL did. Then because she couldn't just say, yea, I am sorry it sounded so blunt.. She got defensive and argumentative and to the REAL breeders, who are trying to help. telling Anne she has issues was SO out of line! If she was a breeder and had been reading the breeding section and truly trying to help, she would have known the circumstances that Anne was going thru at the time and realized at the first post from Anne that she was coming on a little too strong in her bluntness. Instead she chose to argue and belittle Anne and that was totally uncalled for. Compassion and kindness can go a LONG way. ESPECIALLY with a new person asking a serious BREEDERS question. If you don't have some good, experienced advise, then you should either (1) not post at all, (2) say I really don't know, but I would check with your vet or (3) (if you are REALLY trying to be helpful) PM one of the breeders and ask if they could answer the question. All any of us are asking for is a little respect. Some people have to have the last word no matter what and that is what gets these fights going. I have seen it posted all over YT.. BE A POSITIVE POSTER! When someone comes on showing thier new cute puppy, it is fine to give a short blunt answer like " how adorable!" But a serious breeders question should not in my own opinion be answered bluntly (or rudely) by someone who is a non breeder and has no idea if it is an emergency or not.

Im sorry but no one felt her answer was "rude" until the 15th post when Anne posted her feelings on it (which was written rudely by the way). Once she said something everyone chimed in....why? if it was so "rude" why didnt anyone say something before? And because her answer was short and to the point and didnt write it how you would have ...it was wrong? what people have to realize is that you will not always agree with the advice given but we have a right to say what we feel, she felt that the best thing was to go to the vet, so she said it and because she didnt add a smiley face to it you guys jump on her post. you say you are asking for a little bit of respect but you have to give it to get it. Its not having the last word that gets these fights going its not agreeing to AVOID the drama. You didnt like what she said...oh well in life we arent going to like everything.

i beg your pardon but others of us did feel it was rude from the get go long before Anne said anything. it was being discussed in the breeders group. I can also tell you that she was reported more than once. i literally sat on my fingers to keep from posting what i thought but after i thought about it and looking back at this person's posting history, I considered the source. perhaps no one said anything before because they were trying to be nice to that person.

Thats what I mean, we should all just do that because look how the thread was going before Anne commented on her post...it was going good. The OP was getting good advice. Thats my point...do not respond to post on what you feel is rude etc...if you feel it was unnecessary then hit the report button and thats that. I am by no means taking sides, I dont know either one, reason why I responded is because somethings gotta give. we have to find ways around the drama and by everyone just using that button and not saying anything YT wouldnt experience as much drama.

It really wasn't going good. A lot of us sat on our hands and didn't say anything until we felt the need to speak up about the rudeness to Anne. Regardless, all we can do now is hope that the OP will respond to the PM's offering help.

I know it sucks to have sit on your hands, we should be able to say what we feel but as adults we have to take a moment and think...is it even worth it? will any good come from it? more than likely not so report them and let admin and mods handle it. That way the thread doesnt turn into a fight and no one holds grudges against each other (which Im hoping doesnt happen in my case) everyone started to speak up when Anne was treated rudely but anne was treated that way because she did not just contact admin she went and posted, and theres the cycle. all Im saying is that we have to learn how to keep the issue at hand. I too hope that the OP will respond to her PM's there is great knowledge on this breeders section and its a shame when it cant be put to use.

Ok so WOWWWWWWWWWWWW I didn't mean to start all of this!!! I'm gone for a day and I come back to all of this. Please stop. Yall are fighting over nothing. My feelings are not hurt.

Anyways, to change the subject....my dog is doing just fine. The vet said as long as she is eating, drinking, playing, etc....she is fine. Don't know what happened but she is not to be bred again. Which turns out to be a blessing cause she is turning 5 and wasn't suppose to be bred. I didn't realize that she was in heat until it was to late. So God has his way of doing the right thing.

But on the other hand, a female of mine had puppies this morning. She was suppose to have 5. Well WTF...she has 3. No more labor...not in distress......seriously. I'm never going back to the f***ing vet again. I called and all they can tell me is if she doesn't look stressed then she is fine. And that I don't need to bring her in.

So by any chance....have yall ever had a puppy still in there and it didn't come out for quite some time. She stopped having labor at 8 this morning and it is 2. If there is another puppy in there...whats the chance of this happening? Could she stop being in labor and still have some in there?

yes, her labor could stop with a puppy in there. Do you have any calsorb or anything like that to give her? I have heard of one person on here thaat thought the bitch was thru and she had another puppy the next day. it didn't make it. I know what you mean about not goi ng back. My last two ultrasounds showed three and each girl had five.. When you feel of her tummy, do you feel any sign of contraction or anything?

No she isn't having any contractions at all. I checked her belly a couple more times today. Her uterus is still a little swollen but thats about it. I gave her calsorb a couple times today.
