Something is wrong here. I am so sorry for the gal that started this thread. She just came on looking for advice for her little girl. And I know everyone has their own opionions and exper on diff situations. But the bottom line here is that we are all here to help and support each other.
There are so many good breeders with a lot of exper on this site that can give good advice if they have the whole picture. I lost a puppy with my last litter and I recieved such good advice and support, Again Thank you all for that. That is what this site is all about.
Has anyone heard from the gal that actually posted this theard? I hope everything is OK.

Sorry, but I read it the same way too. Reabsorbed puppies is NOT an emergency and there is NO REASON to just rush to the vet. YES, she needs to go to the vet and check it out, but there is nothing wrong with her coming on here and asking questions. We don't know that she didn't ALREADY have a vet appointment. seems to me that the majority of the people who posted in this thread READ it as being RUDE.. of course, maybe YOU are the only one who is right. Holy cow! can't we just get along?? why is it that when a breeder tries to help someone, there is always someone that has to turn the entire thread into something that it WASN'T intended to be.. no wonder the breeders are hesitant to offer help.

Okay...not getting involved in the fight that this thread has turned into. All I had to say was to remember that a dog's gestation length is 63 days from OVULATION. Counting from dates of breedings are only an estimate because a dog can tie many days prior to and after the actual ovulation date.

The reason for this is because I truely think some people just can't answer the question posted without looking for something to complain about. Gesh, if I would have said don't worry, they would have jumped on me about not telling her to go to the vet. With some people you just can't win. They have to have something to complain about. I have read so many thread where these "so called" trying to be helpful people always find something wrong with something someone said that was not even said to them. If people would just comment to the OP and not to the other people's answers A LOT of all this could be avoided. If you don't like what someone says, too bad....move on, don't read it if you don't like it .....especially if it wasn't even said to you.

I must say that for the work you do..which is not breeding.. number one you did not know what to say in a breeders questions so you posted a nasty blunt comment..How do you know that this girl was not send a private message.. or do you in fact know this.. did you know the circumstances of why she came on here...you should have just moved on yourself..
Practice what you are preaching here in this post..I started this.. I take ownership.. you know nothing about breeding .. have never walked in our shoes.. I hope you do not ever come on here feeling you do not know what to do.. then get the same in return..I am sure you would be hurt.. I really hope this does not happen to you..
And you seem to be the one making a huge thing out of people just not agreeeing with you.. quoting every single comment..think about it.. and read it.. I made the first comment.. you had to come back... then every single post you do the same.. stay out of the breeders section if you cannot post something postive.. I do not know it all.. but it is this crap that keeps the good breeders away.. and that is just not right in my schooling..

You're right..OP is original poster. I don't get abbreviations a lot of the time either LOL And even when I text, I tend to spell everything out instead of abbreviate

well personally I think that the people answering in the breeders section should be people experienced in breeding. those that have some experience. but that is just my personal opinion

i agree with you Sunnie. The only person I have seen in here that has been rude is a non breeder that as Anne said, didn't even have an answer. As for telling Anne she shouldn't even have made a comment, it is the other way around. yes, people have OPINIONS but those don't get the job done nor the questions answered. it takes an experienced breeder to do that. The way Anne was jumped on by this person is typical of how the breeders get treated by non breeders with opinions only and why they are gone most of the time. i would encourage others to look back at this rude person's posting history and consider the source.
