| I was thinking of doing it too. Hopefully someone has done it before and can let us know what they thought of it. Right now I am doing Atkins but thought when I am tired of that in a few months, I'll do the lemonade fast. |

| I have not tried this diet or any other fast for that matter. However, I did purchase a juicer last year and for a month I juiced for breakfast a concoction of a large pineapple slice, a handful of cranberries, 1/2 an orange and a whole lemon, as well as a small sprig of parsley. I lost about 5 lbs by just having this for breakfast. I did not add honey or syrup cause I don't like them and I'm not a fan of added sugar or artificial sweeteners either.

| I haven't tried this but am interested in doing a 'cleanse'. I don't want to lose weight though - not sure this is the right one for me.

| My hubby is a doctor and I asked him about this diet because I was interested in trying it. He said it is extremely unhealthy and could be detrimental to your health. I told him that I really wanted to try one of those "cleanse" diets and he said that those diet are just gimmicks and extremely unhealthy. Your colon was made to have feces in it. That is how it was designed. If it doesn't have feces in it, then your body gets all out of wack. He explained it to me in phisological terms, but of course it was all over my head. He said that if you lose more than 1 lbs a day, that is considered unhealthy, also. When you lose more than 1 lbs a day, all you are losing is water weight and you will not be able to keep it off. |

| I really hope no one does this diet solely for it's weight loss effects. it REALLY is dangerous. I know that we all want to lose weight fast but eating healthy and exercising will help anyone lose weight. It's the only weight loss system that works. It just takes patience and dedication.

| I did it for 2 weeks recently, I lost around 12 pounds. I felt really good and not hungry at all. To lose more weight adjust your maple syrup but do not cut it totally out as it gives you needed energy, calories... The most important thing is to ease off the diet very slowly, to avoid digestive upset and cramps. I feel that it is healthy after researching and reading the book, I plan to do it again soon. |

| I've read quite a bit on doing cleanses too and I think it is something I would like to do. I've read about people doing the lemonaide diet in intervals to lose weight and I'm thinking if you stay on it for long periods of time, that is unhealthy...but for only 10 days? I think I will do it around christmas time. |

| My boyfriend's friend did the lemon juice cleanse and she lost 14lbs in 10 days. I'm not sure how I feel about it, but she feels great and she wasn't over weight to begin with. He's talking about doing it now, too. He doesnt have any more than 5lbs to lose. Kind of scares me I have to admit.

But, to each their own. If you want to do it, that is fine with me. I was just giving information on what my hubby said since the question was asked. | |
