My hubby is a doctor and I asked him about this diet because I was interested in trying it. He said it is extremely unhealthy and could be detrimental to your health. I told him that I really wanted to try one of those "cleanse" diets and he said that those diet are just gimmicks and extremely unhealthy. Your colon was made to have feces in it. That is how it was designed. If it doesn't have feces in it, then your body gets all out of wack. He explained it to me in phisological terms, but of course it was all over my head. He said that if you lose more than 1 lbs a day, that is considered unhealthy, also. When you lose more than 1 lbs a day, all you are losing is water weight and you will not be able to keep it off. |
