![]() Yes i researched both breed health issues and they have almost all the same issues and when researching a lot of the web sites said that when its a mixed breed a lot of the bad health issues get cut out somehow and that most mutts have less health issues than their purebred breeds!

They breed at least 7 breeds + multiple mixed breeds. (most reputable breeders breed one or two breeds at the most) They are on USDA lists (this usually means "puppy mill") In fact if you google their name & kennel you will find articles related to puppy stores & and pet shop puppies site that lists them as a breeder. NO reputable breeder sells to pet stores! MO is the puppy mill capital of the world. They have puppies advertised all over the place, some as young as 8 weeks that I found. Are you visiting them in person, seeing the dogs, puppies, living conditions?? JMO, but I wouldn't touch this breeder or line their pockets at all! ![]() ![]()

And I'm sorry to say bad health issues do not get "cut" out when breeding, they can get re-inforced, or you can get lucky. How-ever there are no reliable, in fact there are no statistics that show "mutts" are healthier than purebreds. In fact that is a common statement, which has no basis in valid research.

note for any new morkie puppies Anyone that is thinking about getting a new puppy should take this warning we adopted a morkie from a breeder just outside chatham a little over a year ago-----brought him home (we live in kincardine ont) made an appointment with our vet and took him in for a checkup-----he had the worst heart murmor that our vet has ever seen --------------i phoned the breeder right then from the vets office and told her -----she said that most all small dogs have heart murmors and it should go away---- my vet said the opposite--that this one was away too bad and we would loose our new puppy -----i asked the breeder if she had had a vet check the pups when they were born -----she said no that it was too exspensive and not needed ---- scooter has been a good dog --for the length of time we have had him-----so i am not sorry that i got him -----but do not --i repeat ------do not --------get a new puppy from anyone without first being sure it has had a good vet look it over --- before you pick it up ---once you have one at home it.s yours in more way's than one---youcant part with them after you have them heart murmor or not

![]() Call her and ask to send pics??? You seem too nice and way too trusting. How do you know that they are not sending you pictures of Martha Stuart's home. Unless you personally visit - you aren't sure of the conditions. I truly wish you the happiest healthiest puppy - but listen to the facts that some of the others have posted. There are a lot of other reputable breeders. You can start your search from here. Wishing you nothing but the best!!!

![]() Well when i talked to her she said that she goes to a vet that was said to be one of the best vets for like 20 years adn she has vet certificates that state that she has been check and that the puppy doesnt leave her house unless she is healthy and she does have a health gaurenteefor a year and has many certificates to make sure that we feel secure with our pup. She also said that she doesnt breed for profit and after more than 20 years of breeding she does it for the love and companionship of all the puppies. Also all of her pets are in a safe enviorment adn im sure that some nice old lady (over 70 years old) wont send me pics that arent real i hope! ![]() ![]() ![]()

I have posted earlier on her "health guaranetee" there are wide enough loopholes to drive a Mac Truck through. I think you have already sold yourself on this pup, from this breeder. Just know that from what we can fathom from her website, and your posts, you are making a risky decision. I sincerely hope, your pup ends up to be healthy and well for all the days you want to love em.

And what makes you think she is over 70?? Searching on the net looks like she is in her 50's. Please find a puppy at a breeder's where you can go and check the actual conditions yourself. Anyone can say anything on the internet. I could say I was svelte like and looked like Marilyn Monroe.

I know one thing I do love her so much she is the best of both the maltese and yorkie all rooled into one sweet baby. I would not trade her for anything. You will be happy with yours too. Petstore Cruelty These type of breeders DO breed for profit, making a living off the backs of dogs that know a life only in a kennel. They are not pets to breeders like this. Her telling you this vet is one of the best doesn't really mean anything, I mean how would you know any different? I'm sure he loves her, with hundreds and hundreds of dogs, it keeps his business going strong. Besides there are rules regarding vet care that USDA breeders have to follow. Personally, I wouldn't service a vet that I knew supported this type of breeder. It sounds like you have made up your mind about this puppy though. I wasn't sure if you were aware of who you are buying from. A lot of people on this site will tell you that you buy your breeder first and that really is how it should be. The breeder should be in it only for the betterment of the breed.

![]() If a breeder truly loves a breed, they will breed to protect it, and for the betterment of the breed. Have you noticed that yorkies looks nowadays range considerably? Have you ever thought someone's yorkie didn't look like a yorkie? Those breeders did not strive to better the breed. (FYI, just bc a dog is registered with the AKC doesn't mean they should be bred either, it just means that breeder can keep decent records. And if a breeder registers with ACA, APRI, CKC run away.) A breeder who purposely breeds mixed breed dogs is NOT doing it for the love of the breed, they are doing it for the love of the money. Mixed breeds does not protect the individual breeds. If you want a morkie specifically, adopt one from your local shelter, they are full of mixed breed dogs. Also why would you want to have your puppy stuck in a plane and fly over to you? there was a recent news article that several puppies died in flight while being shipped from a miller. Why would you risk that on a baby? If you have already made up your mind about this person, then I hope the best for you. But why add the additional risk when you don't have to? Better yet, look for local breeders in your area, at least then you can check out the living conditions in person. i would not believe a stranger over the phone or internet. Just like you can choose to believe her or not, you can choose whether or not to believe us. We are not trying to get your money, she is. We are trying to save you from potential heartache.
