As for friendly competition, that will not happen. YTCA already made your partis a DQ.

No Longer a Member | ![]() Some of you might like to watch PBS on dogs. Heres an excerpt from what happened to foxes after taming. Very interesting. |

I showed/raised Cockers almost 20 years ago and never had those issues. Mine were all house trained and never had accidents on their hours sitting on a grooming table. Maybe the dogs sensed your hostility or dislike of them... My last cocker went over the rainbow bridge 2 years ago and she was champion titled and lived to be 15 years old and never once pottyed in the house after the age of 12 weeks! How many yorkie owners can say that? How many exhibitors of yorkies can say that? To make statements about a breed like that shows me quite a bit about you and to generalize it even more about the parti color of that breed and the health issues that the cocker is experiencing now is not factual information. Then to even try to link that to the parti colored yorkie talk about far fetched “It was a joke, ok? I guess you missed it. But is was an annoying trait that these 30+ dogs had. I am not kidding, every one of them crapped on the table after the bath. I dont have any hostility or dislike of them. I cant believe you actually said that. The other 2 groomers had the same problem, it wasnt just me. Did you even read my post? You know nothing about me and never will. And just where did I link it to the parti color???? Didnt you see the laught smilie at the end of the post? YOu really take the cake.” Yorkist: I apologize to you. The stretch from parti cocker to parti yorkie was not you. However up to that point I leave as my statement. Just because you groomed cocker and "all" of them relieved themselves on YOUR table means nothing about the breed in general. Also do you show yorkies? Skyes? Labs?

Verbally abusive? Have you any understanding of the definition? That's not true. I make blanket statements. You've attacked my club, my standard, myself, my fellow exhibitors, the list goes on. You breed intentionally seeking a faulted dog for profit. This, as you know is a breeding practice strongly opposed not just by me but by who? Okay! So it's not just my opinion. The code of conduct is what you are referring to. This is public information. You know my membership status. I don't understand how you can say the things you say then act like this with my reply. Just as other people have said, every thread you get on about this goes this way. Go back, read you posts. When people say what does an ethical breeder do? One thing that comes to mind is that they breed within the standard. This isn't something I say to be mean, be unfriendly or hurt feelings. Its about the betterment of the breed. If you aren't breeding to the standard then you aren't helping the breed. If you aren't helping it, what your doing? Yep, you're hurting it. The shelters are full of dogs being put to sleep everyday. Why add to it with any breeding? You aren't doing the breed any justice by breeding any more dogs that aren't within the standard. This is true about everyone that breeds. If you are not breeding within the standard to the betterment of the breed you should not do it. You will also help the dogs that are in shelters; it's a rhetorical effect that will stop the whole cycle. Every breeding should be to obtain confirmation candidates. While they are not all likely, this should be the goal. Adding to this, you are intentionally breeding a faulted dog. A dog that I do not nor have I ever seen in anyone's yorkshire terrier breeding program. I know lots of people in this breed that have been breeding for many years. There isn't any secret. Maybe not new in your opinion. Didn't the directive mean anything to you? Did you enter them before then? Did the numbers drop after the new DQ? Did you have to pull yours because of this? Nope, so why are we even having this conversation? | |
