It is really a shame that showing has strayed so far from what it was mean to be and that is to evaluate breeding stock but these days it seem to be more of an ego boosting beauty pageant, where the dog are dyed, flat ironed, top knots teased, ears pinned and the list go on and on and on..

More sour grapes:rolleyes: I bet you had a problem with one or two YTCA members. So now the whole bunch is bad, correct? As with any breed, you need to research the breeders.

Yes, they speak out of both sides of their mouths. They demand YTCA bend over backwards to change the standard to suit them and chastize them and their members every chance they get.

Really, please show me some proof. If you are talking about parti carriers, then you are correct. A breeder showing a dog KNOWING it has a fault.

You parti breeders will ALWAYS twist the facts in order to validate your breeding parti colors. Most of you have never stepped foot in a show ring. Most of you do not even know any YTCA members or show exhibitors. Most of you only have your facts by hearsay from the 3 or 4 of you that didnt have a good experience at dog shows.
lol.....I don't see how any of those statements are relevant to this conversation. FYI....I have been in a show ring (for a friend in a crunch w/puppies)....I do know YTCA and non-YTCA exhibitor breeders and have had great experiences at every show with the exception of my first(long story - bitchy handler). Having said all of the above, I am probably one of the least qualified to be making statements in regard to genetics, etc......but that doesn't mean my opinion isn't just as valid and appreciated as your opinion, whether or not my opinion means anything to you or not, is the least of my concerns!

Btw....just what facts have been so twisted?

Stop lumping everyone together each person has their own views and their own agenda. One person does not speak for everyone.

If my opinions mean absolutely nothing to you, then why so angry? ;) I think it's YOU that doesn't get it. "Us parti breeders" are clear in what we do, we do not hide behind a dyeing product. So what facts are being twisted....it all seems blantantly clear.

Not bitter at all:) Why would you think that? Why dont you parti breeders stop lumping all the exhibitors/YTCA members that stand behind the standard of the breed into bad, cheating, lying breeders.
