This would be a good idea to help hold a diaper on her. They are cheap and I bought some after my 2 were neutered and it did stop them from licking their incision site.

I love petedge. Thats were I ordered the diapers from yesterday morning. They are sooooooo much cheaper than petco. I actually stocked up on a few sizes so that I never have to go buy them at petco again.

For now I am going to use human diapers and keep the onsie on her like luvmyyorkie suggested and ladyjane gave me the great idea to use the incontinant pads instead of feminine hygiene pads which I didnt even know exsisted that way I can use the washable panties more which I think would be the best method altogether.

Everyone is so generous and thoughtful.

Its so nice to know that there are so many great people out there. I try not to dwell on Ella's past but why couldnt she have been lucky enough to have one of you as her mommy and lived her 15 years being spoiled with love?

That is what is so sad. There are so many more just like her that never make it this far. Every person that steps into a pet shop should be shown a picture of a breeder like poor Ella! If it detoured one person from a pet shop purchase..............

I think Ella is finally done bleeding.......I hope I hope I hope.

Im trying not to get to excited but yesterday was only a little and today even less. This will make everything easier. I let her be diaper less when in the bathroom and boy was it a mess I had to wash everthing several times a day. I have never been around an intact dog and I had no idea how much blood it was.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!
I posted a couple of updates pics. I know these poor dogs are subjected to constant photographs. I can help myself and Im home more now that I have 3. Notice Sam isnt in many he now runs when I break out the camera.
The first is Ella and Daisy. Second is Ella's eye's they both look amazing and her fur is getting shiney

Oh just look how adorable they both look! I love to come to see all of the updated pictures and how Ella is coming along! It always puts a smile on my face.
