| Thank you for asking Im doing good. Ella is adjusting really well. I have spoken with her mom everyday. She dosent go online much so we may not get many updates from her but I will try to continue to update for her. She said Ella has taken to be a therapy dog very quickly and seems to really enjoy it. She has worked the last 2 days and did great. Im so proud of the little angel. Im sure she loves being with someone everyday constantly.

| I thank all those involved with the care of Ella - truly wonderful to have so much compassion for an animal who has been through so much. I am sure she appreciates it immensely and loves her life now!

| I haven't been online much but when I saw this, I read every single post. I cried and cried. What an amazing story. You are a very special person and I admire everything you and your husband did to save Ella. I will always remember you and Ella in my thoughts. I am glad she is finally living the life! |

| Ella's mom wanted me to let everyone know that Ella is doing fabulously. She is doing great as a therapy dog and is getting along well with her new doggie siblings. Today she is going in to see a specialist for her itchiness, her mom suspects maybe a food allergy. Denise is hoping after her schedule clears a bit this weekend that she will be able to come and update everyone herself. Im very happy for Ella, she seems very happy and loved. As we can see not every little baby gets this lucky. I fear the 4 in MD will die in the shelter no one has stepped up to get them and sadly this happens all the time.

| A quick update on Ella Bella (that's what we use as her nickname since she's so beautiful, inside and out)...Ella is busy bossing around her German Shepherd brother and sister; she and the Great Dane 1 1/2 yr old are a crack up...they still communicate through a gate inside the house because he loves to pounce and play and I want our little girl super-safe....she runs up on him, barks in her little strangled voice (the SOB's that crushed her vocal cords.. I will NEVER understand that cruelty) and then darts away to hide behind me! She is one tough little street girl and climbs into any plastic or paper bag looking for scraps....she's already up to 8.3 lbs. so she's definitely not starving anymore!! She has yeast in her ears and between her toes..probably because of the ongoing antibiotics for her: eye removal, tooth removal, spay surgery - geez! She's on two kinds of meds for it and anti-histamines for itching. I get to talk to Leni-Mama (foster) pretty regularly and love that she keeps you up to date when I can't get onto Yorkie talk because of many obligations. I am really hoping this post makes it on to the thread - talk to you all soon!! Denise (angeldogmom) |

As for her yeast...a little tip that might help. I have a pup with chronic yeast problems that stay under control with weekly baths and a rinse of warm water and vingegar (50/50) after. No rinse after. When he came to me, he was covered. He still gets it in his ears, so I have to be diligent, but not on his skin any more! Thank you SO much for the Ella update!! | |

Poor baby having the yeast infection but it hasn't stopped her from getting being a spunky yorkie with a little attitude I absolutely love your update. Next we will have to convince you to post a few new pictures of Ella.

| I'd hate to think what would have become of Ella, had it not been for you all. Ella is now living "the" life she deserves. Thanks Denise for keeping us updated on our sweet girl...sounds like she's found her niche in your home and your heart!!! Give Ella a big hug from me and Winston sends her kisses...
