| Steam cleaner solution Hi just a bit confused and I would like to steam all carpets...not just spot clean as I do with the bicarb...in the mix recommended, is the peroxide 20 vol and do you add any water etc to it or just straight? Never used a steam cleaner so a bit of a dummy in this respect. Thx in advance |

| I know this is a way old thread, but I'm glad I found it. I've tried Nature's Miracle - and it works well - but the amounts I'm having to purchase are breaking the bank. I'm going to try this and see how it goes. I hope you're all right and that it works. Thanks! |

| I have been using this since I found it a few years ago..works very well & I have never had it discolor any carpets or fabric. I need to find a place to buy a larger container though..I get some weird looks buying a dozen 32oz bottles of peroxide..lol..

| What's the best way to do it? To put it in a steam cleaner or to coat the carpets after steam cleaning or before steam cleaning?

Luv my 7 Furkids Donating Member | question, peroxide will make dogs throw up, so if your dogs walk on the wet carpet did any of them get sick? |

| I just use solution on stain directly via steam cleaner. I always just use my steam cleaner, it evenly distributes the solution & soaks the area to the pad where the stain usually gets to.

| No, dogs have to ingest hydrogen peroxide to throw up.

| OOOOOO I am so excited right now. I am bookmarking this thread. All of these success stories have me super excited. Our condo is wall to wall carpeted and for the past week all we can smell is our little one's pee. We decided to get a new Bissell steam cleaner because no matter how many times we use Nature's Miracle and our shampoo cleaner, it doesn't take the smell away. Can't wait to try this!

| So far, so good. I tried it yesterday on a water hog mat that we have by the back door that I know has been peed on. I just mixed up a cup of it and sprayed it on the mat, saturating it pretty well. I don't smell the pee anymore and we have a heated floor in that room which concentrates the odor when it's on (it's a sunroom with tile flooring which would be ice cold in cold weather otherwise). I'm anxious to try it in my steam cleaner on the carpet in the bedrooms and down the hallway. Yay! |

Donating YT 500 Club Member | Hi everyone - I'm fairly new to posting (read a whole lot of wonderful information on here though) so I hope I'm doing this right... Has anyone noticed if this removes the odor from our furbaby's noses also - or just from ours? I'm trying to find something to help Bridget NOT want to go in the same places, so I need to remove what she smells. |
