If I did it that way, Chloe wouldn't eat the kibbles throughout the day, she'd wait until she got the other. Thanks

| I fed her four times a day when we first got her (because she was so little) then changed to three after a few weeks. Recently she's decided she only wants to eat twice a day. It's a little earlier then I would like as I was planning on cutting it down to 2 times at 6 months but it works out just fine. She also has never had a hypoglycemic episode, ever. |

I think that is what is happening here. Chloe might do better with the twice a day. it sounds like yours is about the same age. Chloe is 5.5 months (born 9/19).

| i used to free feed too but then his poop schedule becomes unpredictable. so now we feed him at 9am, 1pm, and 8pm. He's healthy as ever. His poop is within 30min to 1hr. But he's still missing the pad when he poops so we're continuing to train him on that. Coffee is 3 months old. |

I Love My Lil' Punkin's Donating Member | We are total free feeders here (for the Yorkies anyway) - they are just too small and we want to make sure that there is food available for them 24/7

| I start feeding chelsea twice daily when she was 6 months old because of the same reason. She doesn't eat her afternoon meal. I gave her treats through out the day. As long as you feed her/him almost the same portion, it should be fine. |

| I feed my big boy Banjo twice a day he gets a half cup in the am and half cup supper time. Its gone in a flash. Only thing is even though he only gets twice a day feeds he still poops about 4 times a day. Whats going on. I thought they only pooped the amount of times they ate. |

| Bella's food schedule Bella eats 3 times a day. She is 12 weeks. She eats Canidae kibble. Her times are 7am, 3pm, 8:30pm. Those times work for us because of the kids school schedule. She likes to eat in the kitchen when the girls are eating. Cute! I put 1/4 cup down each time, but usually she doesn't completely finish it.

| Bitsy is 11 weeks old. I feed her 1/3 of a 5.5oz can of Merrick Puppy at 7 am and again at 6:30 pm. I leave Innova Puppy Dry out for her from 7 am till 7:30 pm. So far, she's been pooping 3x a day. She poops about 5 minutes after breakfast, again at 3 ish and her last poop is between 9:30 and 10:30. |

| Annie is 16 months old, and she is feed 3 times a day. When she was younger we tried to free feed but she was more interested in being with us than eating. She actually would go and get a few pieces of food and bring it into the living room or what ever room we were in to eat it. So we switched to 8 am, 2:30, and 6pm. I also have to put up a baby gate otherwise she will not eat.

| Spike's food is out all day because I work shifts and I am never home at the same time each day. I found he wasn't eating much when he had extra treats (if you think about it, they are so small that one treat is probably like a meal for them)! So I cut his treats right back so that he would eat more of his kibble and get the nutrients he needs. He also gets wet food three times a week, in the morning, which he gobbles up! |
