| Hey ya did it, OMG, your baby is simply GORGEOUS, a crowd stopper for sure, beautiful face color placement. How can you not play kissyface 24/7 with her. I do hope she gets as close to that estimated weight, she still has growth time. She is just gorgeous and am sure she is a little DIVA, now all we need is this lil Diva's name lol.

| Oh, sorry, tiny details missed. My 8year old named her Oreo. The pup was her bday present last month. We'll kind of a present to myself as well. And believe it or not, she is not a diva at all. Super cool pup, I really love her personality too. Tough cookie, last weekend she walked 8miles with me without a problem |

| Oreo, a PERFECT name for her coloring, being a Diva does not mean being a wuss lol, Diva like in spoiled lil girl, tell me she doesn't have you wrapped around her lil paw lol. 8 miles with those tiny lil legs lol that is awesome.

| Well of course she does But I'm trying to be a responsible mini dog owner and get her toughen up a little. I'd like her to be cool dog and well socialized. As for her size I'm still hoping she will grow more, it's hard for her to find play mates Do you or anyone have an idea what's costs you would call realistic for the spaying and the baby teeth removal? |

| I personally don't know, price varies state to state, you being in NY will cost you a bit more. I hear outrageous prices for teeth cleaning, and extractions, my vet owns a 24/7 fully staffed clinic. Cody just had his teeth cleaned Oct. 12th, I was given a form to sign with a estimated price that included 2 teeth being pulled if needed. The estimated price was $365. No teeth needed to be pulled, I paid $289. and that included pre-op blood work, pain injection so no pain pills were needed when he came home and a box of OraVet dental hygiene chews. Hopefully others can offer that information, but keep in mind NY is higher priced. It is very important that even tiny dogs obey commands, it is for their own well being, and safety, hopefully you have started her on basic sit, stay, down, wait, leave it, drop it, commands. Socializing with ppl and other dogs is very important. My boy is adopted he was 2 1/2 years old when he was given to me by my vet. He is a NYC boy lol, Rockaway, he was a surrender baby that was going to a kill shelter in NY, my vets rescue team saw where he was headed and made plans to get this boy, he was relayed to Pa. He was a leash walked boy that obviously was NOT socialized with other dogs, he goes into Cujo mode when he sees other dogs, a trip to the vet has become a nerve wracking ordeal for me and quite embarrassing as all my now passed girls were very socialized with ppl and ALL animals, so socializing is very important. Do not worry about toughing this lil lass up lol, all my girls were tom boys lol, no top knots with bows for them lol, if they didn't RIP it out one of their sisters would be pulling it out lol. My boy has a top knot lol.

| I prefer to wait until the growth plates have closed before spaying. In a Yorkie or Biewer, that probably is about eight months of age, and a simple X-ray can confirm it. http://www.caninesports.com/uploads/...tions_2013.pdf For emergencies, Animal Medical Center is excellent. They are a nonprofit organization, so I believe they are subsidized. They have over 100 vets in every specialty. About AMC - Animal Medical Center - New York City I go to an amazing vet in Westhampton. I have been going to him since he bought the practice over twenty years ago. Through the years. I have seen him help or cure very sick animals whose prior veterinarians gave up hope with them. I have met many patients from Manhattan, Connecticut, even Virginia, and some come as far as California. Many people have been sent there by their vets as a last resort, and he was able to help their dogs. I highly recommend the trip if you even need a second opinion other than a boarded specialty veterinarian. The Miracle Vet | Huffington Post The 'Miracle' Vet - TODAY.com I walk with my little girl at least a few miles a day,, but she is seven. Please take a look at these links about appropriate exercise for puppies. If I hadn't seen this, I, too, would have walked great distances with a puppy. This was written about bull terriers who are much larger, but I would check to see if this would be the same for a tiny dog. I'm sure the people at Puppy Culture would answer your questions. https://www.puppyculture.com/tablet/...-exercise.html https://www.puppyculture.com/tablet/exercise-chart.html I wish the very best of health with your baby and a lifetime filled with love, laughter, and happiness.

| Lisa, thank you do much for your very informative message! You gave me a lot to read through and I will for sure. I called many Vet offices in my area today to get a feel and some prices. Just by calling them I learned a lot about them. What is strange to me how they have different opinions about when to spay. Some say at around 6 months, some say after the first heat... Well, I will probably wait like the breeder recommended to see how the baby teeth/permanent growth develops. until then I can do my due diligence on all the offices around. I also ask most of the dog owners I meet where they go. In the meantime I will do my "recap" of old knowledge from 10+ years ago. Back then I had a westie and I myself groomed her and had a "hobby kennel" with the support of a couple of very successful breeders. Strange how you forget things that you do not use. |

| Strange thing was I could hear the assistants gulp big when I told them she was 2 lb. That did not make me feel any better either. |
