| Well if you read her posts, she didnt have the money for the month of December. Waiting a week or two for a pregnancy test for a dog is no biggie. She did not say she didnt have the money at all to deal with the situation. My rant is due to the fact that people jump on other people so quickly here. Throwing out words like irresponsible and such, without know all the facts and not asking the original poster for further explaination. I for one think the lynch mob mentality very upsetting. You know what is she wants to breed her dog, and she has the money and time to do it, so be it. What better place to get her questions answered then on a YORKIE forum. I mean a reputable breeder had to start somewhere. Did we all have rescue Yorkie, no. For me I do want to get a rescue Yorkie, I sought someone out and found my Sunny. I looked for a rescue but there were none at the time in my area. i wanted a puppy, not an older dog. So yes, my rant and this rant is necessary. If someone decides to flame someone, maybe someone needs to decide to call that person out and say, "is that flaming really necessary?" i mean really who are all these holier then thou type people?? | You have no clue what experience she has or doesnt have...you are guessing, and quite frankly, its really none of your buisness. If she choooses to share with you her experience, so be it, if she doesnt...oh well. YT , I never said that this was a bad forum, just some of the members are less desirable.....this little exchange is why I lurk......which I will go back to doing. Bobbi

| Wow where to begin.. How is it being mean when this poster clearly stated that the dog is pregnant and doesn't have the funds to support it? So, according to the posts above, we're just supposed to sit back, hold their hand, and say "Oh it's alright, your dog may die during birth, or have still born pups, or both Mom and babies may perish because she didn't have proper healthcare..." I mean, really? Hoenstly, I'll be the mean one to say that it gets really, really, annoying when people come on here all excited that they got their dog pregnant, aren't experienced breeders, don't have the funds to support the dog, and then when the time comes, panic, ask for advice mid birth in the emergency/sickness and then when the dog doesn't make it, expect us to take pity on them in the RIP forum. This is not about you, or your feelings, it's about the health and safety of the dog. Forgive us for caring more about that then your dainty sensabilities. OP this dog needs to be seen by a vet asap and you need to contact a reputable breeder in your area and become buddy buddy with your vet. You're going to need all the help you can get with these pups. Be prepared to call on care credit or a credit card if you can't pay cash up front. These are your responsibility and you need to be preapred.

| Ladies and Gents? We could in fact act like ladies and gentlemen and choose our words wisely, show our best manners and human compassion, but the temptation to just let it all fly is a very strong one. I've said this before and I will say it again.. THINK before you push the POST button. That goes for everyone... people with 16,000 posts and newbies like me with 70 posts. If you cant or dont wish to control your baser impulses, then expect the worst and dont be surprised when you get flamed. After all, you chose to touch a hot stove and yeah, it's HOT. One more thing... unfortunately, a degree or an IQ test isnt required in order to become a parent, and you dont need one to be a pet owner either. Ignorance and downright stupidity is something we more genteel types just need to accept and endure. However, I wont ever imply that anyone here is ignorant or stupid. You most likely already know who you are and you dont need me or anyone else to offend you by telling you so. As someone who freely admits he is both ignorant and stupid in many respects, I hope that you all will extend me the same courtesy. Correct my ignorance gently, and please accept my stupidity as just a minor flaw in my otherwise stellar character.

| I hope yet another member hasn't been run off here. To the OP I hope you are able to get Bella to the vet soon as that's the only way to know for sure. If she is pregnant you need to know now because she will require specail care. Please try to sift through this thread because amongst the harshness there is some sound advice. |

| The polite police.....actually a great term.... I can understand that everyone has different view points. Its what makes us humans an awesome species. It makes the world go around...and at times VERY INTERESTING. But what gets me spun up is how those view points get put into words. As pointed out to me many times, life isnt a bed of roses...well DUH!! I am 44, i SOOOOOOOO get that....my life story could be a Lifetime movie. But with that being said, being polite and stating your view point in nonthreatening way would go alot farther then coming across harsh and mean spirited. I like to give back handed compliments...the kind that may go over the persons head, but after they think about it for a moment or two...they say to themselves....what?! Oooh, but at least it made them think. Jumping down ones throat and all of that doesnt get very far with most people and instead of jumping in the mix, its easier to just walk away. Many times I reread the post. Reading it once and the replying can get one in a lot of trouble...misinterrputed.....so to speak.... Bobbi
