| ![]() I've known about your vet situation for awhile and still can't comprehend what it would be like. ![]() But on the good side, this vet's answers to you look good. If they use Iso or Sevo, I think it's okay. Surgery on a heated surface since he's so small would be even better (or at least hot water bottles, heated towels, etc.).

Yes, they are types of anesthesia. Each vet has their own preference. I like Iso so far... These are gases used for maintenance. Halothane is another one, but I would not use it. Before they can intubate and give him this gas, something is used to "knock down." You can read about all of this in the YT Library. ![]()

--------- The last thing I want to say is that a CT does not just come from intubation. If it becomes pronounced following intubation, it is because the trachea was weak to begin with. I have been seeing a lot of posts about this on YT lately and it worries me that people will avoid procedures that are necessary because of a fear of something that is highly unlikely.

![]() Darlene, I've pulled Mimi's back baby teeth out w/a wash cloth. It was loose, I just hooked it w/a wash cloth & my finger tip & just pulled it down (it was on top molars) & it just slipped right out. No blood either. Her canines had to be removed by the vet.

| ![]() Darlene. How old is your little guy? Brooklyn was spayed and they removed her baby teeth but one after the fact did not come out. My vet said to wait until her first dental cleaning. Brooklyn is 10 months old. She's very tiny too 2.5 lbs. Also if you do have him put under, Sevo is the safe anastigia to use. It's short for something but I'll have to look because I can't spell it. LOL. But it is is the expensive stuff. Elaine |

| ![]() isoflurane or servoflurane, most are recommending Isoflurane, as Servoflurane can cause body temperature decreases, where isoflurane does not.
