| What a great thread...haha Actually I believe dogs "have their fun" just like humans...all of my dogs are neutered/spayed. I had a female that loved I mean loved her donut bed...round and round she would go...I always asked her if she wanted a cigarette when she was done. Only one of my boys does it on a daily basis and he has one friend he dearly loves. I told him it was okay he really should do it in private...he doesn't always listen to me... Now on a serious note we did have one come into rescue that we had to have surgery twice as his penis was always hanging out. The vet told us if the second surgery (pulled skin and sewed the hole a little smaller) didn't work they would have to make him into a girl Last I knew the second surgery worked.

I did actually pull the sheath back over everything last night, which I really didn't think I would ever be able to do. That's the power of love, baby. I think maybe I'll cut the pee string off. It doesn't sound like I did it right, and I can live with some splatter. Thor is neutered, btw.

I can't recall who was asking, bc Cindy has me laughing now....but yes, both my boys are neutered as well. They are 3 & 5. I respect their need to have a lover - and mine also have never tried to hump a human. Oh, and they both have little "pee strings" too - I just let them grow out naturally, and then trim the length.

| This thread has me a bit worried. Mr Peeper makes an often appearance at my house. The first morning Kaji was home, Mr Peeper wanted to make sure he said "MORNING" too. It was Mr Peeper in his full glory too. A week later Kaji was neutered. He's only tried to hump my old roomie's dog a few times, a cute yorkie mix at the doggie park, and that's it. No special friend, no people. Yet, Mr Peeper and I are very well acquainted. Kaji and Mr Peepers greet me when I come home from work. Both will occasionally greet me in the morning. Point is, Mr Peeper is no stranger at my house. Mr Peeper never has a problem uh.... going home, he just visits often. I've seen Mr Peeper in his full glory twice since his neuter, but mostly it's just half way. Is that weird, strange, or unhealthy in any way?

I was going to ask the vet when I went to get his health certificate but it slipped my mind. I think I'll call them tomorrow to just ask. I did ask the SPCALA trainers since it seemed to be a behavior thing. They told me it was normal, he's just really REALLY happy to see me.

| touche! Yes rosebuds can swell up to three times its normal size during a heat cycle, and looks strangely Georgia O'Keefe-ish (LOL!), but once Uni is spayed I think it'll be smooth sailing from then on! *fingers crossed*

| Knock on wood that I don't ever see "Mr Peepers" on Snickers. Like I said, sometimes I have to look to find his "peanut" as its so very little. I trim his peanut as short as I can and don't leave a "pee string" at all. One thing I will admit which I am very ashamed of even though I was an idiot at the time of purchasing Snick, is that he came to me neutered. Yes, I know...I bought him when he was 9 weeks old and he was already NEUTERED!! I did buy Snick from a dump, and had no idea what I was doing. Maybe that's why I don't see Mr. Peepers??? Thanks- Vivian

My Bailey was neutered at nearly 6 months and still has his favorite love toy that he takes to bed with him at night, he has even gotten a little to frisky and humped himself right off the bed and nearly scared me to death! Other then his occasional nightly romps with his love toy, I've never seen him "love" anything or anyone else THAT way

In the past I have had neutered males and they never humped things. I still believe it is bad behavior, that if, "nipped in the bud" it will not beome a problem. But if it is allowed to go on, it becomes a habit. JMO
