I was wondering too if they are neutered. I have intact males and they do not require nightly sex. They are only interested when the girls are in heat, but can go for 6 to 8 months with no sex.
In the past I have had neutered males and they never humped things.
I still believe it is bad behavior, that if, "nipped in the bud" it will not beome a problem. But if it is allowed to go on, it becomes a habit.
