Actually I believe dogs "have their fun" just like humans...all of my dogs are neutered/spayed. I had a female that loved I mean loved her donut bed...round and round she would go...I always asked her if she wanted a cigarette when she was done. 
Only one of my boys does it on a daily basis and he has one friend he dearly loves. I told him it was okay he really should do it in private...he doesn't always listen to me... 
Now on a serious note we did have one come into rescue that we had to have surgery twice as his penis was always hanging out. The vet told us if the second surgery (pulled skin and sewed the hole a little smaller) didn't work they would have to make him into a girl  Last I knew the second surgery worked. |
lollllllllllllllllll the cigarette cracked me up as we got dex a cigar squeaker toy for when he was done lolllll
