you will probable see her eyes start to shine more, her hair could get softer, shiner also. She'll be happy. When I stepped up Pebbles food (from what her other family was feeding her) I even saw her smile one morning. lol Best to you & the pup.

| Wolves and dogs may be genetically the same, but that's where the similarities end. Wolves have not been selectively bred by humans (for the most part) as domesticated dogs have. Wolves do not suffer from some of the illnesses and genetic fault that dogs are prone to due to human interferance. These factors compromise what a dog "needs." You cannot equate entirely the needs of dogs vs wolves in the aspect of diet alone without considering ALL the factors that play a role there. |

mscat -I think your know it all remark is out of line and very not needed. A chat is a chat and we can disagree and teach and toss out info and learn and getting disrespectful is not needed. The fact I have facts and insight differnt then many here is to be expected cause I am not them and they are not me and we have had a chance to experince a differnt life and the sights and sounds and learning of the world. Who I am is a dog trainer/owner with a dog that is a genetic mess and I have had to learn a great deal to keep this dog alive and healthy. What this dog has not had to deal with and I have had to manage or learn be everything a yorkie can and does have possible except Liver shunt ( I am hoping at it age we well passed having that smack us up side the head) and I have dealt with things yorkies are not to have and it does. Who I am is someone that has access to people, places and things that many do not, not because I am rude or disrespectful of those willing to share their knowledge and for free because I am the opposite. One that willing to learn and to understand that what I thought I had been taught or understood is way off the mark or a wives tale to long in use. As for being a know it all.. well no I still go to conferences ( boy the last one I learned all about Learning theroy and understiood it at last and phermones) and read anything I can lay hands on. I still have to learn just what the out come of the latest concern this dog is having is going to cost it in its life. I still have to learn all about the new C.A.T. system of training aggressive dogs. Wish they choke it up in book form. ( if not that next years confrence) I still have to learn the T Touch levels and also the next level of rekie. I still have to understand if there is a way holistically to work some of my dogs concerns. Oh yes and I still have to learn if Stevie and Alex on McLeod's Daughters live a happy life. Now lets take this back to learning. JL

| Wellness is a good kibble. Lacy ate that before I switched her to raw. I used to feed her the Fish & Sweet potato

| Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | Check out DVP Natural Balance Little Bites...I have finally settled on it after trying so many others and having one problem or another. Also Flint River Ranch ! Chicken Soup for the Soul is good but others are better it seems.

| I've fed Oreo Eukanuba since he was a puppy because that is what his breeder was giving him. I haven't had a problem, but I've noticed lately that he only eats it as a last result because we hardly ever give him table food. He also has been having some bad gas lately too. I want to change his food but I want to do it smartly. I've considered Wellness based on what I've read about it being all natural and I looked at the ingredients which really looks healthy. Can someone advise. Thanks TJ, Nora and Oreo. |
