| I am just reading this...how sorry I am for the loss of Little Paris...YOU did a wonderful job, but a puppy this small had so little chance of survival..many long time breeders would have lost her...I hope you speak to the breeder about her ethic's..(treat people the way you would like to be treated)..unless this puppy was free, she should compensate you, she made a grave error in judgement selling her at this size. IF I may... There are three people responsible for the loss of this darling baby..the breeder, the breeders vet and the new vet. The breeder should never had sold her in the first place..the breeders vet should never given a health certifcate for her to be sold and the new vet should have told you to return her asap. If the vets did not recognize the seriousness of this situation, then you should write a detailed letter of your experince, along with the input from long time breeders and perhaps it will be a learning they can use in the future. |

| OMG , I was checking this morning for an update on your little girl and for a moment I felt thrilled and then I felt like I got hit by a truck! I am so ,so sorry for your loss. I know when we have to give 24/7 care to a puppy we become very bonded with them. My heart is breaking for you. Yorkierose(Pat) is RIGHT. I blame the breeder and who ever that vet was to give her a health certificate. Please get that necropsy done.I imagine the pain at this moment is more than you can take. You are not responsible. You did more than anyone could have done. She was too tiny and should have never been let go at such an extreme small size. so sorry Genie |

| Oh my gosh.. i am SO very SORRY!! i have been following sweet Paris' story!! i was NOT expecting the sad news, when i read it!! You did everything you could.. i have ALOT of respect for you-because like someone else mentioned, MANY new owners would not have been this attentive and eager to learn, so they could do everything they could to help the baby! It is NOT your fault.. you tried everything!! Again, i am very very sorry.. i can imagine how you must feel.. my deepest sympathy!! I am so glad you found YT.. it probably helped you alot.. and will continue to help you while you grieve! Big Hugs to you!! and again it was NOT your fault that baby Paris didn't make it.. (like many said, it was very well she had something else wrong with her.. let alone she was just too tiny to survive!) xoxo. I hope you will stay here on YT and when that time comes for another baby.. you can get references from all the loving members on here! ![]() Quote:

| Gee... I never expected to read that little Paris had died... I went to the end of the thread and was surprised to see all the sympathy messages... I had to go back and read what happened!! I am so very sorry for your loss.... evidently she wasn't growing for a reason... and probably wasn't digesting anything very well either. So sorry... HUGS...

| I am so sorry for the loss of Paris. You were a good mommy to her and did everything you could. She's your little angel. Shame on the breeder though for even selling someone a puppy that small and at such a young age to boot!! And to charge you a small fortune for her? Not right! RIP Sweet Paris.

| It has been very thoughtful of all you that have given me your sympathy! I know you understand where my husband and children just don't know how much pain I am in! I have had puppies and dogs in the past and Paris was so different! She brought joy to my life. She went EVERWHERE with me for three weeks and I am completely lost without her. I have never grieved this long over an animal especially one that I felt hopeless about shortly after I got her! I have call the breeder and she told me she had no others on the ground and it would be about three months as she did not have any in heat! So I am going to get another (bigger) but that does not help the grief for now! I have never slept with a dog before and Paris would cry just like a baby till she got in my bed! She slept right where she could fell my breath on her and I her! I am having a hard time going to bed as this was the first night that she was in hers and I feel very guilty that she was not there to pass with what she felt was her mommy! SHE WAS ALL ALONE! I just can't seem to get a grip with that. Yes I know that if she would have been in bed with me and died I would have thought it was my fault that she should not have been in bed with me so either way I do blame my self. What kind of a mommy lets her baby die all alone in a bed with no one with her! Sorry to be so sad but this is why I have not posted in awhile I AM HURTING SO TERRIEBLY that it is hard to talk about it. Paris was the perfect little baby for me! She is exactly what I wanted and was looking for. I do not blame anyone as I do know that if GOD wants someone or something that it is out of everyone control to keep them here! I could have never taken her back to the breeder I was in love from the minute I got her and she was the world to me! I will stay here on YT and continue to read but again it is hard to post much as I am still grieving so much! Thanks Again For Yor Sympathy!!!!! I will keep you posted with the news of a new baby. Shelly

| Take all the time you need to grieve, it's only natural. When the time is right, another baby will come into your life and amazingly, there really is room in your heart for another, not a replacement but an addition. Hugs, take care...may your sweet little angel rest in peace.

| Donating Yorkie Yakker | ![]() Oh what a sweetheart - she isn't with you but she does have someone there to love her though, and she will always remember how good you were to her. I know how much you can love your baby girl, I have that same love for mine. I'm so sorry for your loss. I know how this sounds, but I imagine our pets are with our loved ones, and Paris is with a member of your family that has passed on too. |

| Wow..I too am very sorry for your loss. I just read through this thread and I agree with "who" is at fault here...and Shelly...its not you. You did such a great job keeping her going. You don't need to rush your grieving process...you were a great mom!
