I received a reply to my email from Jay Drelinger today. He said that he would check into why my petite hasn't shipped yet and if it hasn't he will upgrade me to the elite at no additional charge....I think I will also call these above numbers to see if they have my order on file..... |
Well I recieved an e-mail back from Jay Drelinger and they are sending me an elite as a replacement...I'm being upgraded! I hope it doesn't take another five weeks to come though :rolleyes: Eileen |

well my goodness,, I'm so thankful for finding Yorkie Talk here and thinking to SEARCH for Peticure threads before ordering one for my girls here,, I simply Cannot trim their nails,,just one of those things i cant handle,, (I quiked my parents Chi once,, and it was so pitiful),, cant do it,, so,, i thought this could be just the ticket,, but after reading all this,, i think no,, i'll hafta wait on this one,, sounds like the company is on overload,, it appears to be out of Dallas,, so maybe i'll find them locally soon,,but any of you who actually HAVE yours,, i'd love to hear how its working out for you and on what size dogs,, thanks to all!! :wavey: |

Update I called the company AGAIN (these is my 5th and 6th calls to this company) today to inquire about my refund that I have been waiting 5 weeks for. I cancelled this order back in Jan and was told it would take 1-3 wks to get my refund. It has been 5 weeks and Nothing. None of these phone numbers seem to get you in contact with anyone who knows what is going on. One of the ladies I spoke to today said my cancellation seemed to have been processed on Feb 7. THREE WEEKS after I cancelled it. They are NOW telling me it will not be credited on my account, but I should get a check in the mail. What will they tell me next??? I have emailed Jayden Drelinger about 30 times and he does not respond. I would be very cautious in dealing with this company. Something does not seem to be right with it. |
Correction!... The order was CANCELLED on Feb 7. The request for REFUND did not go out until Feb 13th! |

Debbie, thank you SO MUCH for the phone number. I spoke to Jayden for quite awhile. He is SO SORRY and he was SO NICE about it. He seemed so sincere and he is so very excited about his product and wants to make everything right. He said he has some gliches with the online order process and cust svc that he is fixing. He said he was very upset about the bad batterys after he had so much exposure for an excellent product, and he has also won awards etc for the product. He said the problems should all be fixed by next week. He said he is SWAMPED with orders and was not expecting it and everthing was not working as it should have been. He is working on fixing everything. He is going to make sure my check is mailed out today AND he is sending me a complimentary pedicure tool to show his sincerity. I will let you know when I get it. I feel better about this company now but I asked him to make it easier to contact him directly with problems like mine. I am looking forward to getting my pedicure tool and trying it out. Thanks again Debbie. I was just getting so frustrated with these people. |
I think I will wait a while to see how you guys fare on this. The concept is good other than the note that is made of the visibility but I am a bit hesitant due to the customer service issues and the battery problems. I have heard of people putting the dog's nail through a net to hold the hair away from the spinning file so it won't catch. The really cool thing about this tool is that it has a plastic guard on it that keeps the hair away from the spinning end. I just hope the issues are resolved with this company soon like they say they are. by the way one of the people I talked to today at cust svc said they are busy sending out the replacement batterys now just in case you got a bad one. Just thought I would mention this so you can decide if you want the dremel. |

After finding this thread, I had to have the peticure. I just ordered it. I am hoping that I wont have any of the problems that have been common for this product. The inventor seems like he really is doing the best he can. The new batteries should have been in during Feb. There is a four week backorder, so I expect I should have no problem when the product arrives. I will keep you updated though.:D |
The Vice President of the company just called me because someone forwarded one of my emails to him. He was very concerned and asked me to tell him the chain of events thus far. He said they had a meeting about this and it is totally being fixed. He explained about the computer problems and how swamped they were with orders. He was very nice. He promised me that my check will be mailed today. __________________ |

I ordered mine from their web site and they are back ordered. I should be getting mine very soon as they were expecting a new shipment in last week. Customer service stated that they can't keep them in stock! Sounds like it really works. It is worth the wait I think. |
Also, Im not sure if this is a new development, but when I placed my order, I received two emails. One from peticure and one from the inventor. Both were just my invoice, but maybe it is an easy way to contact him? |

The one thing I have not seen mentioned that is a concern with using a Dremel or any other rotary tool is trying to remove too much nail to fast. By going too fast, the rotary drum creates friction and that in turn generates a lot of heat and the dogs feel the heat sensation in the nail and will always freak them out. Go slow when using the tool to keep heat from building up! Do not hold the sanding drum against the nail until you reach the spot you want. Use a Touch and Remove, Touch and Remove technique. The drum will stay cool and so will the nail. BTW, I like the panty hose over the nail idea to keep hair out of the way. That is ingenious. |
I ordered my Petite on Jan 16th....it is now Feb 24th and I have yet to receive it. I have received a few emails stating that I will be upgraded to the Elite for my patience and time and that all Petites were shipped last week...well here I am still waiting, waiting, waiting. I have done a bit of research and have come up with 4 different phone numbers. Tomorrow I will try calling each one (time permitting while at work). But I am almost at the point of requesting my money back (which was charged to my credit card back in January) and cancelling my order. I feel that I am really getting the runaround which I don't appreciate...Hope others aren't going through this.... |
