This is something that I'd love to get! Belle tolerates me cutting her nails, but Ariel squirms. Does anyone know when they'll have the Petites back in stock? |
My MIL has been sending emails to the company, since she ordered on Jan. 2 (the petite)....anyway her last email was on Friday and said that the petite wasn't backordered, so she should be getting it any day now....(she explained how it had been awhile since she ordered)....so...maybe it isn't backordered? I will see if I get on for my party on Sunday! :xfingers: |
Went ahead and bit the bullet and ordered a petite today...even though the website says 4 weeks delivery, got an reply after I comfirmed payment of shipping in 3/4 days...soooooooo we will see....Thanks everyone for your input on this item... |
My poor Skeeta runs when she sees the nail clippers come out :( I am going to get it and try it. |
I ordered this on Jan 8th and after I read about the bad batteries I decided to email the company and cancel it. They sent me a phone number to call and cancel it. The person I spoke to said the Petite is on back order and even though they don't have them to send out right now, my credit card was still charged for it. He told me he was putting in an order to cancel it and issue a refund to my card and he told me to call back next week to be sure it was cancelled. I might order this later if they the battery problem fixed. |
My petite came in just in time for our birthday party!!! My MIL (and I) were so excited!!! I didn't know if I would get it because MIL said she had been emailing the company and hadn't gotten it yet........she didn't tell me that it finally came in....I was very surprised and HAPPY! Anyway, I have the petite and you can used it plugged in or once charged, without it being plugged in (cordless). I charged it and did both Mojo and LilyGrace this morning and still had plenty of "juice" that I attempted to use it on the big dogs. I was actually REALLY surprised that the little ones let me use it....being that it is new. But Mojo just laid there on his back (that is his comfy way) and played w/ a flossie and LilyGrace...she was a little more afraid, but my daughter held her and gave her a flossie and she was okay after awhile. It isn't too noisy at all and it is very light weight. As of right now, I LOVE IT!!!!! AND the petite has several nail size options in the guard....that there is even several bigger holes that will fit our big dogs!!! :yay_jump: |
I ordered mine on Jan 17th when the credit card went through there was an error message, so I emailed them to ask if my order went through or not no response, they sent an automated email that it do go through, but not when it would arrive, they charged my credit card and still no email if it was shipped or not so I guess I will have to wait and see. |
Update: I have had mine for several days now...okay, more like several weeks and I love it! I haven't had any problems w/ charging it and it keeping its charge. AND I love that the guard, accommadates the little dogs and the big dogs too......AND this is the PETITE model! Although I didn't purchase it (it was a gift), it is definitely worth the money!!!! :thumbs_up |
Ok, that's it! Definately getting one! Costs me that much just to get the dogs nails clipped one time at the vets office and everyone seems to have a pretty good opinion of them. |
I ordered mine on the 16th, so I'm hoping it should arrive soon.... keeping fingers crossed :xfingers: I can't wait to try using it. |
My BF has a Dremel tool, so I just ordered the guard (which comes with the sander attachments that are safe for furbaby nails) today. I was going to order the petite, but I've read so much about the battery problems on other forums that I didn't want to risk it. So if your hubby has a Dremel, you could always order the guard and save some money. I'll let you know what I think of it when I get it. |
Can you guys give an update how this is working for you? I am still a little on the fence about it. |
Still waiting to receive my petite model....I ordered it on the 15th of January so hopefully it should be arriving anytime now...I emailed the company today and as soon as I hear anything I will post it here. My lil ones nails are quickly growing out after her vet trimmed them when she was in for her spay, so I'm hoping that it arrives soon...keeping fingers crossed... |
Ok everyone ,I recieved my peticure petite about a week ago, the battery was charged so I went ahead and tried it on Remy, I liked the guard on it and the smallest hole was just big enough for Remys nail . I was doing just little touches to her nails to get her used to it ,but then the battery died so I put it on the charger for several hours and when I went to use it again it ran for about 1 minute and then the battery died  seems like I got one of the ones with a defective battery :thumbdown I was hoping they had fixed that problem but I guess not.I haven't given up on the peticure yet I still like the concept so I e-mailed them tonight asking them what to do? Will let you all know how it goes Eileen |
I just may have to get one of these. It used to take my fiance and I both to hold down my furbaby just to trim his nails and by the time we were done...30min had already gone by and we would be in a sweat! Well he has now calmed down some so now I can do it by myself but it takes a while and he still fights me a lil. I never cut him in the quick when my fiance helped hold but when I started doin myself after he calmed down...I have accidently quicked a few but not many and not badly. However, this last time..he hollared and I thought i quicked him and I almost did but it never actually bled but you could see the quick. Then all of a sudden there is blood on my shirt...i check the toe..still not bleeding...check another paw and there is a toenail bleeding that i had quicked and he didnt even squeal about! So i felt really really awful cause he was wanting to play and run and i was trying to keep him calm cause the more active he was...the more it would try to bleed so i tried to hold him calm and put quick stop (blood stopper) on it and waited a while and then he was free to play. But after that..I feel bad. I have a nail grinder but the noise FREAKS him out. Does anyone know if this peticure is quiet???? If so...ill prob just have to get one! ;) |

I cancelled mine because of all the bad reports I read about the batteries. They took the money from my credit card even though they didn't have a product to ship. I have called 3 times and sent several emails and they told me it will take 2-3 weeks to credit the $ back. No one seems to know what is going on there. Some told me the petite is on back order and some said it is in stock. One person said there is no record of my order, even though it has been charged on my credit card. I think there is something funny about this company. |

After waiting two weeks I emailed the company and told them I wanted to cancel my order. I got an email back from JAYDEN DRELINGER who I think owns the company where they gave me a phone number to call and cancel the order. 1st call: I spoke to someone who called himself Leo. I don't think it was his real nameas I could barely understand his english. He said he will put in an order to cancel it and credit my money back if it was charged. He said he had no way of knowing if my credit card was charged or not but he said to call next week to see if the credit was issued. He said the petite is on back order. He knew nothing about the battery problems. 2nd call: Guy I spoke to said it should have been credited back but he doesn't know. He said they take the $ from your card when you place the order regardless if they have the product in stock or not. He told me to call the main ofc the following week and gave me the #. 3rd call: I spoke to a lady at the main office named Helen. She said there is no record of my order but she will put in ANOTHER req to cancel the order and credit the $ to my card. She said check my credit card and CALL BACK again if my credit card was charged for the item. She said the petite is in stock and not on back order. She said the others are on back order and they are expecting a new shipment soon. She knew nothing about the battery problems. 4th call: I called to tell them that my card was charged and they told me that it takes 2-3 weeks to get the credit on my card. At this point I don't know if I will ever see it. He told me the item is on back order. I have emailed JAYDEN DRELINGER several times and I get no response. |
The number that I got from JAYDEN DRELINGER in my first email is: 1 (866) 626-7961. The second number which I was told is the main office is: 1-866-813-4927. I was told that their hours are 8-5 Central Standard time. |
