I ordered the Peticure Petite 2 days ago, I'll let you know how long it takes me to get it!! Hopefully, they are not backordered and I will receive it soon! |
we are loving it here!!!:thumbup::thumbup: |
Just wanted to let everyone know, I ordered my Peticure on 4/8 and received it yesterday (4/29), Not too bad, I was expecting to get it for Christmas  I wasn't brave enough to try it yet. I did turn it on around my little guy to get him used to the noise. I was hoping it would be quieter. It's not too loud, just louder than I hoped. |

Have to tell you, I was taking this apart to change out the file part, and I got tempted to try it on myself (like a dremel). It was quite painful! I was surprised. Good to know. |

I haven't gotten mine yet either and I ordered it 5 weeks ago, I called them and they said probably in another week, but they probably say that to everyone!! |
I received my awhile back after waiting a long time to get it. I have to say, I love it and it was well worth the wait. No problem here with using it on my lil one, however I just tried changing the sanding disc and now can't get it put back together... :( :( Has anyone tried to change the sanding disc by taking the shaft that holds the sanding disc out and how did you get it back in???? |
Hi Sweetpea, just hold the small button in while you tighten the shank ,when its tight, then release the button and screw protective cover back on. Eileen:D |
Okay I just ordered the petite a few minutes ago. I read through the entire posting about the problems some were having with getting their product. Ijust want to commend the guy who thought of this product, he went and made a product that is highly sought after by pet owners and groomers. Sure there were problems what company hasn't had them in the beginning. But he did something most companies won't do, he talked to many of you personally. That is what decided me into ordering this product. I hope mine love it just as much as yours do. |

Good for you!!! we ordered ours,, the Elite, ,online,, but after speaking with them numerous times in emails,, got ours in less than a month,, and SURELY WISH DH WOULD HAVE USED IT TODAY!!! instead of clippers!!! we have 2 bloody toenails,, it just gets ALL OVER ME!!! and Trixie's bled entirely too much and too long,, makes me just sick!! Poor babies, ,so,, I'll just hafta learn how to use the Peticure on my own i suppose!! as you CAN'T quik em & make em BLEED like that, breaks my heart!!!! I still say KUDOS to Peticure!!!:thumbup: |
YAY! I finally got mine over the weekend...heheh |
I got mine yesterday, and I tried it right away. The first thing is that the round file in there doesn't match up to the hole (using the smallest hole). If you put Chloe's toenail in it, her toenail actually will be above the filing thing--like it sits too low. I did circumvent that by pushing up the filing ring higher up on the thing (that's a good word isn't it?) it sits on. Did anyone else have to do this? Do I need to post pictures--I have no idea what these parts are called. "Thing" is the word of the day. :) |

I just order one too! |
I was looking at the Peticure online, but I ordered the Dremel MiniMite instead, got it within a week & have been trimming away. It is great!! It is cordless & rechargeable & works well on low speed. Was ordered & shipped for under $33.00. |
Lucaboo do you have the link from the company you got yours from ? |
I got it on Amazon. I opted to pay for cheap shipping to get it faster. Hope this helps :) The low speed is at 6500 RPM - seems safe enough for my girl. 'Dremel 750-02 Minimite 13,000 RPM 2 Speed 4.8-Volt Cordless Rotary Tool Price: $26.96 & this item ships for FREE with Super Saver Shipping. In Stock. Ships from and sold by Amazon.com.' |
I finally got mine....it was over 6 weeks!! But I haven't used it yet, I've got to get them used to it first. It is very quiet though!! |
